Considering how good we here are at telling others how to live I don't know if that is disturbing or ironic
Its actually 4.
I think its ironic that there are no GA's or members of Stake Presidencies here. What does that say?

I'm on the High Council, but also serve as Stake Clerk so get to go to the weekly Stake Presidency meetings along with the Stake Exec. Sec. - yes, they are long
EDIT: BTW, the poll does not work for me - says "invalid" when I press submit.

Sacrament Coordinator... I love it! Bringing the Bread every Sunday and preparing the table has helped me to focus on the meaning of it all.

Ward Clerk and Home Teacher. As a youth, I was my Dad's home teaching companion. He was a 100%er and taught me many valuable lessons. Today I'm pretty close to 100%. I owe him for being a good example to me.

Re: What is your current Church calling?
For me, Family History consultant and Temple Worker.
The temple is the best place on earth. It has been the only place that I feel absolute peace. I have the opportunity to be for voice for the prayer (every other week) in sessions. This is a marvelous experience, like a pipeline of light opening up and being able, through the priesthood, to receive from the spirit what the patrons need, and then vocalizing it to reach heavenly ears.
Absolutely marvelous.
On the family history side, I am more of the "tekkie" for the new website: new.familysearch.org. I have a goal to find at least one family every week. So far this year, I've made that goal and try to help others on their goals to find their ancestors.

urrr....sushi_ guesses has a tendency not to differenciate people....that might be good, for it says, "....every man should esteem his neighbor as himself...." (mosiah 27:4)

Re: What is your current Church calling?
YW president. My favorite part of the calling is bearing testimony of Christ and of the gospel. I love teaching the girls. I also love being creative and planning really great activities. But it's challenging trying to inspire other leaders to want to do their calling. The other YW leaders are as much drama as the girls! I have a super supportive husband, so that makes a huge difference in how I'm able to do my calling.
It's going to be really hard when I get released. I've developed friendships with the girls and I know how much they struggle individually. There is so much work to do and I hope I can do those few things I know the Lord is asking me to do. It's a great calling. This is my second time as president. I hear there's more drama in RS though, so....

Ever wonder if maybe they're far too busy living the gospel to banter about a site like this? :-sStahura wrote:Was tempted to troll the forum and select the first option..

Re: What is your current Church calling?
Is "Current Heathen" considered a calling?
When the day comes the waters open for me again, will any of you be coming to see me get dunked?
(It ought to be worth it, if for no other reason than to see if the poor guy is strong enough to lift me out of the water!)
