An awful lot happened last October. Just because the MSM didn't report it doesn't mean it didn't happen. Too many people busy eating candy, I guess.

Well...October was certainly a bad month for the stock market last year.

Although history may state the actual market crash occurred on Monday, October 6, 2008, the market experienced eight consecutive trading days of negative movement starting on October 1, 2008. The table below shows the decline of the Dow Jones Industrial Average from October 1st through October 10th.

If a bunch of people start dying, I won't be shedding any tears. Frankly, there are a lot of people out there whose only purpose is to use oxygen and pervert the good things of the world.

And what of the righteous, you ask? I remind you of the words of one of our most beloved hymns:

This is not a somber verse, it is a joyful one. Sad for our families left behind to deal with, but it reminds us that the faithful need not fear death. For mself, I'm really disguted enough at much that's happening right now that I welcome it for a whole lot of people. If that includes me, great. Less taxes to pay.
