Ephraim is the Judah of the West, complete with a River Jordan, a Dead sea, a religious capital, a divine millennial destiny, a center of culture, art, technology etc... Water even flows from the temple and will probably one day heal the dead sea (perhaps after an earthquake provides an outlet for the lake into the gulf to come?)... Many parallels in Ephraim and Judah.

They were both kicked out of their promised lands. There is an imposter temple at both temple mounts. Both imposter religions trace back to the source of their respective beginnings, and both claim genealogy. They both are congregating along the western "wall" - the Jews at the wailing wall and Ephraim at the rocky mountains just outside where the western wall of new Jerusalem will be.

If I recall correctly the two temple mounts are mirrored.
