Here is Moses 3:7

3 And I, God, blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it; because that in it I had rested from all my work which I, God, had created and made.

So what are we to make of your post?

You believe in the Sabbath.
You believe in a man claiming to be a Prophet?
And to add insult to injury, you believe that your keeping it simple stupid.
Or maybe you just believe that your giving simple advice while insulting those whom you wish would take your advice? Either way, I think you need to rethink this a little more...

It is not even 5:00 when you posted this, are you hitting the bottle a little early Brother?

Will did not have to take it there... I said what I believed, as in who will be gathered out. He could have just as easily done the same. Even if what we both believe is totally opposite, this is a public forum, it would be up to others to make their own minds up. And in the end, it will be what it will be. By that time, these words will have drifted away into the past and been forgotten, except to the conviction of those who might have received insights into these future events. For them, it is be like walking along and then remembering the end of the story, like they had already been there before.

Was described to me in one of my dreams..I also know there will be mobs coming to this area
I learned a lot from that dream..the Lord will come..
Side note : I am surprised how many of my ward members have places here..different reasons people are "called out " way before they need to be out..
Case in point... is it not prophesied that SLC will become one of the most wicked city upon the face of the earth, that blood will run in the gutters of the streets. Yet later it will become a tent city for people who come AFTER the destructions start!....

Is that Prophecy, or the philosophies of Men mingled with scripture?

FWIW -

Salt Lake City was spoken of as a wicked city as early as 1865. Heber C. Kimball, in the Journal of Discourses, Vol.11, p.82 – p.83 -

"I do not say but that you are just as good men and women in this place as in any other place in the mountains; yea, I admit that the people are better in the country towns than in Great Salt Lake City, for the froth and scum of hell seem to concentrate there, and those who live in the City have to come in contact with it; and with persons who mingle with robbers, and liars, and thieves, and with whores and whore-masters, etc. Such wicked men will also introduce themselves into Davis County, and among all the settlements throughout these mountains; but where the people are truly righteous and just, wicked men can do them no harm; were the people all righteous who profess to be Latter-day Saints, they would constantly be on their watch against the encroachment of a wicked power. The wicked and corrupt who have settled in our community are taking a course to lead away those who are willing to be led away from the truth–those who have turned away from God; and it will be for our good, as a community, if such persons will leave and never again return to our Territory, unless they can do so with a determination to serve God and keep his commandments. I love those who love God; they are more precious to me than gold, and silver, or possessions."

Joseph F. Smith in 1870 -

"Instead of raising themselves to the standard of the Gospel, they are content to descend to the level of the wicked and corrupt. Many of the Elders of Israel who have responsibilities resting upon them, with which they will find they cannot trifle with impunity, are taking this course all the time. What wonder, then, that the Spirit of the Lord is grieved? What wonder that the Latter-day Saints need to be preached to continually? It is no wonder to me when I contemplate the condition of the people of these valleys, and especially Salt Lake City, Ogden, and our cities contiguous to the railways." (Journal of Discourses, Vol.13, p.339 – p.340)

J. Golden Kimball, in a conference address in 1930, quoting the words of his father spoken in 1868 -

"I claim not to be a prophet, but I am a son of a prophet, and I expect to give you evidence-whether you question the truth of it or not-that shall be left with you-that Heber C. Kimball was a prophet of God. President Brigham Young on more than one occasion said: ‘Heber is my prophet, and I love to hear him prophesy.’ In May, 1868-that is sixty-two years ago–he said: ‘After a while the gentiles will gather in Salt Lake City by the thousands, and this will be among the wicked cities of the world.”

Again, FWIW -

"An army of Elders will be sent to the four quarters of the earth to search out the righteous and warn the wicked of what is coming. All kinds of religions will be started and miracles performed that will deceive the very elect if that were possible. Our sons and daughters must live pure lives so as to be prepared for what is coming.

After a while the Gentiles will gather by the thousands to this place, and Salt Lake City will be classed among the wicked cities of the world. A spirit of speculation and extravagance will take possession of the Saints, and the results will be financial bondage.

Persecution comes next and all true Latter-day Saints will be tested to the limit. Many will apostatize and others will be still not knowing what to do. Darkness will cover the earth and gross darkness the minds of the people. The judgments of God will be poured out on the wicked to the extent that our Elders from far and near will be called home, or in other words the gospel will be taken from the Gentiles and later on carried to the Jews.

The western boundary of the State of Missouri will be swept so clean of its inhabitants that as President Young tells us, when you return to that place, there will not be left so much as a yellow dog to wag his tail.

Before that day comes, however, the Saints will be put to a test that will try the integrity of the best of them. The pressure will become so great that the more righteous among them will cry unto the Lord day and night until deliverance comes."

—Heber C. Kimball, First Counselor in the First Presidency, May 1868, in Deseret News, 23 May 1931; see also Conference Report, Oct. 1930, p. 58-59

Thank You EmmaLee... I do not have the time to always back up my statements. It is not that I do not know where to look up the quotes, but it is time issue.

I know of no such prophecy. There is a clear prophecy that Salt Lake City will be classified among the wicked cities of the world, and during my visit last October it seemed the population is well on its way to fulfilling that prophecy.

But a prophecy of gathering to Salt Lake? I have never come across anybody in or out of the church. I have seen prophecies of gathering elsewhere in Utah at the start of tribulations, and gathering to the city of Zion as it is built, but not Salt Lake!

Kingdom of Zion,

Do you think there is any possibility of the church leadership calling for the Saints to gather?

We have prophecies of 'gathering' to the Salt Lake Valley, that was what brought the Saints to the territory of Utah in the first place.
Before leaving Nauvoo, Latter-day Saint leaders saw the proposed trek westward as the beginning of fulfillment of a prophecy uttered by Isaiah: “And it shall come to pass in the last days that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the tops of the mountains … and all nations shall flow unto it.” (Isa. 2:2; see also Micah 4:1–2.) The blessings promised the posterity of Joseph by his father Jacob had included “the utmost bound of the everlasting hills” (Gen. 49:26; Deut. 33:13–15), and so it was to the Rocky Mountains that the Lord directed their feet.

They had not forgotten that the center stake of Zion would one day be located in Jackson County, Missouri. (See D&C 57:1–3.) But the persecutions and tragedies of Missouri in the 1830s had made it plain that this center stake would not be established immediately. In fact, for the time being, the Lord had excused them from the commandment to build a temple there (see D&C 124:45–55) and had counseled them that Zion “shall be redeemed in mine own due time.” (D&C 136:18.) Until then, they would have to find another home......Brigham Young told the first Latter-day Saints in the Salt Lake Valley that Joseph Smith had for years longed to be there. Finally “we are here, thank the Almighty God,” he said, “for here is the place of beginning.” 2

As for the 'blood will run in the gutters of the street'...I found this:

The account of blood flowing down the gutters of Salt Lake is rather apocryphal, and is probably a good example of how statements of the bizarre get quickly blown out of shape. The following account of this topic, by William A. Wilson, is found in BYU Studies, Vol. 17, No. 1, p.44.

Another example of the shifting shape of folklore lies closer to home. Most of us will remember the turbulent period in late 1969 and early 1970 when BYU athletic teams and the marching Cougarettes met violent demonstrations in neighboring schools, when a spate of stories was circulating about bus loads of Black Panthers making their way to the state to blow up Mountain Dell Reservoir and to invade Temple Square, and when some people feared to travel beyond the state’s boundaries because they had heard gory stories of people with Utah license plates being stopped and beaten up by blacks. Emotions were intensified by the revival and rapid circulation of the apocryphal Horse Shoe Prophecy attributed to John Taylor. (This prophecy was first written down in 1951 by Edward Lunt, who said that in 1903 or 1904 he had learned it from his mother, who said that she had received it from President Taylor in 1885). In Lunt’s account, President Taylor supposedly saw a day of great trouble and warfare striking the Saints, with ‘blood running down the gutters of Salt Lake City as though it were water.’ As versions of the Prophecy began to multiply during the violence of 1969 and 1970, a new motif was added to it-the notion that the blood would run in the gutters because of racial warfare. For example, an employee of Seminaries and Institutes stated that it was common knowledge among teachers in the Church educational system that a confrontation with Black Panthers was going to take place in the streets of Salt Lake City and that this would be a fulfillment of the prophecy that Blacks would wreak havoc in the streets of Zion. He said that this prophecy was given to President Taylor. It was common knowledge from reliable sources [he said] that Blacks and hippies were arming themselves in the canyons east of the city and that the FBI had uncovered plans by revolutionaries to hit Salt Lake City with a violence campaign.
