ffa - I have to agree with your philosophy. we should be agents. Joseph said we should teach correct principles and govern ourselves +/-. implicit to " teaching" is to have a willing learner who will modify their behavior based on what they learn. choices lead to actions, actions have consequences. what consequences would you propose for bad actions? shunning? that's hard to shun in a cyber world if the shunnee (?) doesn't care and won't shut up.
see what I mean? I'm still typing...

Re: Emergency Replacement Moderators Poll
I was just thinking flatulence might be able to cure moderatoritis, the article clearly says that flatulence cures some light weight diseases, like cancer! Hey, you never know until you try it----- :-\Obrien wrote:ffa - I have to agree with your philosophy. we should be agents. I agree completely! The problem is, some people don't like the way I am moderating myself.AGStacker wrote:In LDSFF no man shall say "know ye a moderator" for every man shall moderate himself.

Re: Emergency Replacement Moderators Poll
Thank you for your thoughts that I am anyone to watch over any.
I am only here to be like unto a sign post to help others see the path up to where I have traveled and being able to show the way up the point I have been. Still a ways to go for me. And by that I mean doing a book report on everything Jesus Christ has said to do and how to be like and what you should know, starting with Matthew Mark Luke John and 3rd Nephi and the D&C. And listening to his words on an audio source 24/7 as much as possible even while sleeping having his words playing softly in the background while you're asleep so that even this time is not wasted.
That other's voices might be raised for the cause of Zion in the words of Jesus Christ the Lord God of Israel, of the feast of fat things he has asked us to prepare of covenants and deeds for the poor, that at least the Saints, of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, may be a light unto all this nation, and to other nations of this earth, as to how the Lord God has commanded, that his poor are treated.
I would love to see more light and not darkness and hopelessness posted as that can bring despair into the hearts of many, where some possibly get lost in that darkness and hopelessness posted.
Other than that note, thanks but no thank you on moderating ♡

I have to give my vote to Lemuel. You can't take your self too seriously and survive as a mod here. Lemuel refuses to take anything seriously. ;) Thus he has my vote.

Re: Emergency Replacement Moderators Poll
Just saw this.
First, not sure how I made the nomination board.
Second, why the hell would anyone vote for me!
If I was moderating, in a matter if days, we'd be wearing loin clothes, shaving our heads and pillaging neighboring sites.
Viva la forum!

Suggestions for moderator's can also be PM'd / emailed to me since there's a chance I won't see it if you post it in the thread (unless you can get NJB to add it to the original post / poll).

Re: Emergency Replacement Moderators Poll
What I find interesting is that my first pick on that list is not even close to being first place in the votes.
You want to know something else that is interesting? Mark (way back before his days as Keep the Faith - back when he was only fighting the communists) was once invited to be an LDSFF moderator - he turned it down.

Thank you but I respectfully declined 3 weeks ago. My daddy didn't raise no dummies ( or moderators either)Jules wrote:I voted for you too... ;;)boo wrote:Actually i voted for you. Now I know i truly was inspired

I think mark or shadow would have brought great balance. Maybe Kathy?BrianM wrote:What I find interesting is that my first pick on that list is not even close to being first place in the votes.

They bring great balance by tipping the scale from the HG end that has virtually no contention and rule breaking, to the "most warned and banned" end. :))e-eye wrote:I think mark or shadow would have brought great balance. I simply refuse to even entertain the thought of being a moderator
I have a hard enough time policing my own bad self.

Re: Emergency Replacement Moderators Poll
It's all perspective. Some think you're quite vile and hypocritical yourself. You can dish out out on the church and those who support it, but to hell with those who dare dish it out on Snuffer and those who support him on this site. Very uneven handed. But keep the blinders on.Jules wrote:They bring great balance by tipping the scale from the HG end that has virtually no contention and rule breaking, to the "most warned and banned" end. :))e-eye wrote:I think mark or shadow would have brought great balance. ChelC was the best moderator this site ever had by leaps and bounds. She was ran out. Bullied out. Oh well. She wasn't the first or the last.

Re: Emergency Replacement Moderators Poll
Shadow that was you accepting the job of moderator correct?
Shadow does bring up a good point. I don't even know who all the moderators are but I know that at least some of them are pro snuffer and it appear to allow evil speaking of the Lords anointed in the LDS church but nothing must be said about DS their prophet or it's deleted/changed posts and warnings. (PS - not breaking rules saying bad things about the moderators just stating a fact from very much evidence all over the place.)
