Now I don't really take much of an interest in Taylor Swift (news of her is continually foisted on me involuntarily), but it does beg the question of what the talk will focus on. My hunch is this will be Davos' equivalent of a TED talk. I think it will probably cover:With 47 talks scheduled, “reimagining growth” is a topic that aims to explore building stronger and more resilient economies alongside identifying new sources of growth.
Speakers include Christina Lagarde, President of the European Central Bank, economist and Harvard Professor Dani Rodrik, Brian Moynihan, CEO at Bank of America, Gita Gopinath, Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund and Patrice Louvet, CEO at Ralph Lauren.
These talks will cover topics from major gatherings, like Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and the FIFA World Cup, to future financial crises.
* Taylor Swift's social influence, particularly on younger people, and how they can use it.
* Sustainability — possibly someone moaning about how many peasants are travelling in planes to see her shows, blah blah.
* "Female empowerment", women in business etc.
* The risks of large groups of peasants gathered together.
I know what it probably won't talk about, which is Taylor Swift's alleged occultic imagery in her shows. You're not going to get that in open session or I doubt it.
What about the FIFA (soccer) world cup? Well, this is a massive sporting event, which brings in a lot of viewers worldwide. Football is used to promote mass migration, and LGBT+ and so on. So that may be discussed as well as all the issues I mentioned with Taylor Swift.
