Here’s an interesting piece of news. At one point in his career he worked for Kirton McConkie.

So, will Kirton help the prosecution, the defense, or ask Church PR to put out a statement about how they have removed themselves far from him before they knew?Reluctant Watchman wrote: ↑September 18th, 2023, 6:35 am Here’s an interesting piece of news. Why isn't Doug Anderson publicly condemning him like he did Tim Ballard? Seems much more egregious crimes, you know, an actual pedophile vs a pedophile hunter

Re: Bruce R. McConkie’s grandson (David George McConkie) arrested on child sex abuse charges
This is similar to the Provo MTC Mission President who may have raped at least one sister missionary, and admitted to other abuses. The church was adamant in defending him until the woman released her audio detailing how she confronted him in person.
https://mormonleaks.io/wiki/index.php?t ... -Audio.mp3
https://mormonleaks.io/wiki/index.php?t ... -Audio.mp3
In 2017 Joseph L. Bishop, former President of the Missionary Training Center (MTC) in Provo, Utah, met with a woman who claims he attempted to rape her while she was a missionary in the MTC in 1984.
The meeting was recorded and the audio begins with the accuser interviewing Mr. Bishop for what he thinks is an interview about leaders in the church. At [40:30] the accuser transitions the conversation to her discussing what she claims he did to her in the MTC.
A long conversation ensues in which the accuser not only discusses what she claims happened to her, but also prods Mr. Bishop into discussing his interactions with other women.
While Mr. Bishop never affirmatively acknowledges any specific actions, he admits that he has molested at least one woman and has been inappropriate with many other women. At one point he claims if the full extent of his sins were to be revealed he would be excommunicated and the Mormon Church would be embarrassed.
This audio serves to demonstrate the abuse that can potentially take place between Mormon leaders and those under their ecclesiastical charge.

Mormon culture is huge on touting pedigrees of men. It feeds the idolatry that perpetuates the Mormon system. We each need Jesus, not all these men.

Well, not exactly. There was that stint where he worked directly for satan. He might have retired a satanist, if not for his other ventures. He did quit satan apparently, but never came clean about it. When one works for satan, one is satan. I don't know what you call a satanist that is LDS, other than an LDS satanist. One does not work as a secret government agent while following Christ. Maybe once in a while, but there is a decision to be made. Maybe that is why he quit his satanic career. Or did he?Nevervaxxed wrote: ↑September 18th, 2023, 6:21 pm and at one point he worked for the teh law firm that predominantly represents the church.... nothing to see here, move along... but jump on Tim Ballard, who has always defended and upheld the church. geez

Not just that but if fits with their corporate creed. As I’ve stepped back and observed rather than earnestly participate, especially with the last calling I had which was at a stake level that I asked to be released from, I’ve noticed they treat each calling like a Jon title. The ward librarian is now the “media specialist.” The wars bouncer is the “security specialist” or something like that. It alludes to prestige and a rank within the ranks. As people clamor to climb the corporate latter of the church each title gets more elaborate sounding. Notice, however, when you read the bios of those who’ve achieved highest rank they never list them as being a nursery worker or “media specialist.” No, they were treated like officers entering the military. No toilet cleaning for them, they get to be the ones to give the orders rather than receive them.

The church purposefully waited to release the story on Tim at the exact time this story broke. It is not a coincidence. They are good at distracting the masses.
And did the church make a statement about David’s immoral behavior, just like they did to Tim?!!?

Tim Ballard ex secret agent and HS agent. If one works for satan, one is satan. And maybe he repented. He did quit. Re: Bruce R. McConkie’s grandson (David George McConkie) arrested on child sex abuse charges
Interesting perspective. One I currently don't share, but willingly admit is possible... I'm awaiting further light and knowledge on Tim... the fact that the evil cabal that includes the current LDS church is trying to stop Tim is a huge proof - at least to me - that Tim, although imperfect as all of us are - is on the right path. As usual, all I've seen so far are allegations against Tim, not actual proof. But your point of being CIA is well taken. It's extremely difficult to remain clean when rolling around with the pigs, but was it necessary to accomplish what Tim has done in saving children, and dies that make it even more of a miracle and testimant for Tim that he was able to do so? We shall see, but I certainly apreciate your perspective. And, i should add, I have agreed with your perspectives more often than not on this forum...

“The arrest papers detail accusations of assault from one victim over several years, from infancy lasting at least until that victim was a pre-teen.
“According to the arrest affidavit, the victim told investigators about repeated inappropriate touching by [defendant], which persisted at times when the victim says they asked him to stop. The same documents state, the victim told investigators some of the abuse happened when they would sleep next to [defendant] up until the age of 11 or 12. Also mentioned in the same papers, the victim reported forceful kissing and hugging by [defendant].
“One of the people interviewed by investigators and mentioned in the arrest affidavit has ties to a church, according to the documents. That person told investigators [defendant] allegedly confessed in 2008, and that it was, “normal for members of the church to confess to wrongdoings.”
“[Defendant] reportedly said on a recorded phone call, some of the actions he’s accused of were accidental. Again, this is all according to arrest papers.”
https://gazette.com/news/former-deputy- ... 62a57.html
“The affidavit also said McConkie confessed an inappropriate sexual act with a child to a church leader in 2008. The person who spoke with police about the confession said he was shocked but he did not ask many clarifying details about it. “

Wow… so many things wrong. Abusing an infant??!!!! And that 2008 incident, WTH? How do you confess having sexual acts with a child and no legal action be taken?
Crazy the dichotomy between this and the Ballard fiasco.

This garbage is inexcusable. It is on us to keep our kids safe. It's obvious at this point that the children's safety and well being isn't the number one priority of a church if they KNOWINGLY select pedos like this for leadership positions......From December 2016 to November 2021, McConkie was an LDS stake president of the Colorado Springs East Stake.

So disappointing, yet par for 'this' course. This stuff will continue. Parents, PLEASE BE AWARE.

Oooohhhh, he was called as a stake president in 2016, eight years after having confessed sex acts with a child. So yes, they called a pedophile to a leadership position.

I wish there was a different emoji than thumbs up for some of these stories. The nepotism in church leadership is nauseating. Nearly everyone is interconnected somehow through distant relatives or missions. The McConkie thing makes you wonder if he’s a product of upbringing- abuse in his childhood type of thing.
If so, the Glenn Pace SRA letter explains a lot of this s@*%.

The timing and circumstances of the abuse suggest the victim may have been his own child who is now barely an adult. The other children are still minors.

He has since passed away. Right before that some conservative commentators (maybe friends of his) got to speak with him. From what I remember, Pace told them that the Memo was small beans compared to what was actually happening. He seemed kind of bitter about how the whole thing went down and how his name was attached to all of it.Teancum1 wrote: ↑September 23rd, 2023, 8:25 amWhere did Pace get memory holed?
