Twitter Embed Test

Testing this method for embedding/sharing a Twitter post on the forum..

Example 1:

Tweet loading ...

How to:

1. Click the "share" button on the tweet you want to share:

2. Copy the link to the post:
It looks something like this:

3. In the forum post editor, click "twitter" to add the tag to your post:

4. Paste the post ID from the link in-between the twitter tags like so:

5. Then Submit your post... Done!

NOTE: Sometimes the Twitter post URL will have a "?" after the post ID, followed by a bunch of other characters. Remove the "?" and everything following it:

This is the Post ID:

I'm guessing it's because X/Twitter's API accessibility keeps changing, but embedding doesn't work currently.

It's definitely possible for the Twitter / X embed to stop working, because they keep changing their API, but as you can see, it still works...

If it doesn't show, it shows a "colonia" sprouting up near Houston Texas with a population of between 40 and 75k people, mostly illegal immigrants.

Their website by the way, the equivalent of "Para español, presione 1, For English, press 2."

Okay, that was weird. I gave it a thumbs up, intending to look at it, but after the thumbs up showed up, the twitter/X picture/video vanished.
