The railroad through Utah changed a lot of things. Post CW1 slave plantation masons also fled dixie with their loot/wealth. The federal government required BY to step down as Governor of Utah.

Funny how when he had ultimate power in the territory, things were good, and when the feds took over, suddenly it was not so good, but still the fault of the mormons. When this happens, I know somebody is framing somebody else.

IIRC, that included Indian Affairs or such.
