April 1st was John’s day for Christ’s crucifixion, by the way. But it’s doesn’t appear God cares about our calendar.

April 3rd for the resurrection.

Interestingly, the priest represented on the Priest Calendar on these days is Mijamin.

Mijamin means From The Right Side, or Right-Handed One, which fits into some other discussions we've been having, doesn't it?

The Shabbat before Pesach is called Shabbat Ha Gadol, meaning the Greatest Sabbath.

According to Jewish tradition, this was the date in which the lambs that were to be sacrificed for Pesach were selected, and the Egyptians were powerless to prevent the sacrifice because the lamb represented one of their deities.

On the Sabbath, they generally read a Torah reading and a Naelim reading.

The Naelim reading for that specific day is Malachi 3-4 (which are together in the Jewish canon). We have the last part in Doctrine and Covenants 2 in our Scriptures, as well as the JST in the Bible.

How fitting.
