I don't really want to post this, but since the church thinks Drag Queen Story Hour should be defended, people need to be informed about what goes on during these things. I won't post the images directly in this thread.

Note this group was started by a couple of moms.

Fury at 'Drag act for BABIES': Semi-naked man in thigh high boots performs bondage routine in front of tots and parents at 'sensory event' held in London pub

"Footage has emerged of dancers dressed in bondage gear and thongs performing handstands in front of babies and parents at an 'absolutely abhorrent' event.

The CabaBabaRave show brands itself as a 'little slice of afternoon delight' that intersperses cabaret with 'captivating baby sensory moments' before 'ending in a rave'.

Footage showed one dancer, known as Benloader Circus, dressed in bondage gear while performing acrobatic sequences from straps dangling from the ceiling as babies and their parents watched."

This was also discussed on infowars and how these people hide behind the fact that they are gay and so you can't criticize them. Video: https://banned.video/watch?id=6400ef3c85d91c3d2eb2b78d

Anyone that supports this garbage should be exed....but I'm not holding my breath this will change in our church with love and inclusivity being preached...church seems more concerned about if you prophet worship...doubting the divinity of RMN revelations is more important then serving a mission for Christ.

??? The church huh… What is the church? Who defines what the church is? I honestly have to ask, do you think the Lord is going to completely overhaul this organization from top to bottom? He’d literally have to start over. Every temple should be torn down and/or sold to care for the poor.
I would say, Yes, Jesus' church is true. The problem stems from not understanding Jesus' definition of his church. An organization with a greedy and corrupt leadership at the very top, by their very behavior, show which master they follow, and whose church they really belong to.

Sir H
You finally explained a concept I lived through but did not know it existed.

I was in the EQP and I remember being asked by stake leadership what I thought about home teaching. This is one of several times where I felt they were testing my ability to get their right answer. Turned out that this was right before they dissolved the whole program. Of course, after that I realized there was a right answer to their question but I did not get the answer. I also realized they were not looking for my ideas so the only purpose of asking me that question was to see if I was on the same page as leadership.

I recall Jesus saying something about it would be better for anyone to tie a large millstone around their neck and drown themselves in the depths of the sea than to cause the "little ones" (aka children) to stumble.

Children have a quality of innocence about them, where they put their trust in those who ought to be providing them with proper direction and examples of how to live a righteous life. For me, the meaning of stumble that Christ is using would imply that adults are taking advantage of this innocence to intentionally lead a child into twisted & wicked ways. In other words, anything that would teach or influence a child to fall away from God, or promote a sinful lifestyle.

Psychologically the first 7 years of a child's life determine the foundation for how one communicates and interacts in the world. Furthermore, a child is mostly influenced during the years 10-15. From ages, 3-11 is an imprinting period. Childhood experiences between these ages are likely to have an impact on who that child becomes, how they feel, behave & process the world for themselves in later life.

Now if Jesus was using a whip to drive sinners out of the temple, how do you suppose he would react to drag queen story hour?

Hey, this story hit the local news: "Pocatello to hold town hall about library"
https://www.eastidahonews.com/2023/03/p ... t-library/
POCATELLO — At a town hall meeting, you will be able to speak about Marshall Public Library, as well as “other Pocatello City government-related topics.”

The meeting is Tuesday, March 28, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall.

The public will have to sign in at the beginning of the meeting to be recognized, and then the speaker will be given two minutes to address the public and the City Council.

“The purpose of this meeting is to talk about library policies. What is discussed during the meeting is up to the people and what they want to talk about,” said Pocatello Mayor Brian Blad.

The public could bring several different concerns to the City Council.

Recently, the library became the setting of a controversy when members of Christian churches and MassResistance, an anti-LGBT, pro-traditional family advocacy group, occupied Reading Time with the Queens. Speakers may choose to address this, but recently the event has been moved to a new location.

MassResistance also made a post Tuesday on its website with claims that the Marshall Public Library contains “pornographic books available to children.” People may end up choosing to speak about that subject as well.

A separate group in attendance will be P.A.G.E., Pocatellans for Accountable Government, a group that held a silent protest at a recent City Council meeting to restore the public comment section of its meetings. “Items from the audience” has not appeared on a City Council meeting agenda since Jan. 5.

The City Council is not allowed to take any official actions on any matters brought forward at this Town Hall, but city officials can listen and take note to help determine any future action they take.

Irby said the city used to hold town hall meetings quarterly but due to lack of participants, started only to hold them when a topic of discussion arose.

Mayor Brian Blad said he would like to hold a town hall meeting every four months.

How is it even possible for anyone to believe that the church is legitimate? I assume that other churches at least believe they are doing something good. If the church was named the fags and SRA of RMN and associates, one could see that they would be living up to the name. There is nothing "Jesus Christ" about the church. How long until Jesus has had enough of the mockery?

So here is an update
https://www.massresistance.org/docs/gen ... index.html

MassResistance parents in Pocatello, Idaho, continue to win culture war battles against the leftists in power.
Radical library employee resigns after parents won’t back down.
Drag Queen event moves out of library – but its new venue gets “cancelled” by prominent non-profit.
The pendulum is moving the right way!
April 3, 2023
ALT TEXT The parents flooded the Library Board meeting to sound off about the sexuality and obscenity targeting children in the library.
Pocatello, Idaho, is basically a conservative town. But in recent years the local leftists –particularly those running local Marshall Public Library – have been bullying people into silence with their LGBT activism, pornographic books for children and teenagers, and sexually perverted Drag Queen events for young children.

ALT TEXT At a Marshall Public Library Drag Queen event, this man wearing women's clothes reads the children's book "Two Grooms on a Cake".
But now that parents in Pocatello have formed a MassResistance activist group, citizens have started fighting back. They are pressuring the public officials to stop providing obscenity to children. Things are beginning to change.

Parents fight back and unnerve the leftists
On January 17, 2023, the library held a Drag Queen reading time for children. But a group of MassResistance parents came early and took up all the seats in the room. It completely stymied the event!

Two days later, January 19, the Library Board got word that a large group of MassResistance parents were coming to the meeting to complain about the library’s pornographic books for children. So three of the five Board members didn’t show up, causing the meeting to be cancelled for lack of a quorum. But the parents proceeded to hold a meeting of their own!

Radical library employee resigns after parents won’t back down!
At the following month’s Library Board meeting on February 21, even more parents came and filled most of the room again. Some leftist pro-LGBT activists also came to defend the obscene books and Drag Queen event in the library.

ALT TEXT When all the chairs were taken, the overflow crowd of parents stood on the sides of the room.
The Library Board continued its hostile (and undemocratic) reaction to the parents’ outrage. During the public comment section, the Board allowed testimony by only six people of the approximately 70 who came.

The MassResistance parents who were allowed to testify made the best of it and read aloud from the obscene library books. They made sure everyone in the room knew exactly how bad the problem is.

ALT TEXT A mother reads aloud from a pornographic children's book to the Library Board. But the Board members just sat there stone-faced.
Rowan Smith, an employee of the Marshall Public Library, was called on to speak. Smith is a woman who “identifies” as a man and is also vice president of the Drag Queen group that had been coming into the library to read to children.

ALT TEXT Rowan Smith reads her angry rant.
Her speech was an angry rant against MassResistance and the parents. She served up the tiresome LGBT talking point that those who disagreed with her are “haters.” She said that the Drag Queen event is meant to be “a vehicle for gay cultural expression” for children. She said she is tired of hearing parents say that it is “indecent, immoral, abnormal, or sexual in nature.”

She falsely accused the parents of handing out pamphlets in the library saying that "being transgender makes me a pedophile and transgenders should not be allowed to exist." There are no such pamphlets, and that never happened.

This is meant to intimidate parents from discussing the truth: Transgenderism is a mental illness. And pedophiles groom young children with sexual topics.

This led to another well-worn LGBT talking point – the childish (and absurd) whine that she is now unsafe. “Whenever I enter the library as a patron or an employee, I am scared,” she said.

But throughout the meeting, despite the fact that the Library Board did their best to muzzle the room full of MassResistance parents, the Board got an earful from those parents who testified. They were very upset and didn’t hold back.

Rowan Smith’s offensive remarks and outright lies outraged a lot of parents. She viciously labeled them as hateful and possibly violent. But none of them were backing down. Right after that Library Board meeting, MassResistance wrote to the library and demanded that Smith be placed on administrative leave and issue an official apology.

One week after the meeting, however, our local team learned that Rowan Smith had quit her job at the library. Good riddance! According to our sources in the library, she quit because she said she felt “unsafe” due to the “hostile working environment.” We suspect that the real reason is that she realized she could no longer intimidate the parents.

But unfortunately, other LGBT activists like Smith are still pushing their radical agendas in public libraries across America.

Drag Queen event withdraws from the library
March 9, 2023, two weeks after the Library Board meeting, the Drag Queen group in Pocatello, called “Reading Time with The Queens,” announced they would be moving their children’s event from the Marshall Public Library to Temple Emanuel, a local liberal synagogue. They again trotted out the phony LGBT talking point of crying about “safety”:

“Our priority is and always has been the safety of children and their family members. We are not interested in engaging in the theater of exercising our right to exist peaceably in public. It has become clear to us that Marshall Public does not have the ability to keep our participants safe.”

This is dishonest and misleading. There was never any issue of safety in the library or anywhere else. The parents had always been very peaceful, orderly, and unthreatening. But they would not back down from stating their opinions, which infuriates the LGBT movement.

ALT TEXT This sign outside of Temple Emanuel reveals a lot. It's very big on liberalism. But there's only enough interest to hold one regular religious service a month.
The temple gets “cancelled”
For a long time, Christian groups in the region have provided funding and support to the local Temple Emanuel. But this latest move appears to have crossed a line.

One of our activists has been informed that a prominent Christian group (whose mission is to support Israel) has cut off contact with the temple – and has cancelled a planned 100-year anniversary celebration for them – after finding out that the temple was promoting a Drag Queen event for children.

Final thoughts
There's much more to come from Pocatello.

Word has certainly gotten out about these successes! As of this writing, other parents throughout eastern Idaho are asking for MassResistance’s help to fight the LGBT and Drag Queen push targeting children in their communities. We are eager to work with them!
