I think these relationships could/might work if:

1. Adults Chose it for themselves - no manipulative tactics, no ones agency curtailed

2. Those involved care about each other

3. There was a balance | so all husbands/wives/children's emotional, physical, social, mental etc needs were met

4. Limit in number of participants | in this life

5. Pre-established game plan, agreement on how things would work

Benefits would be that the joys/happiness found in marriage and children would be multiplied - even though there would be more challenges - just like in successful marriages the joys/happiness would outweigh them -

How does God qualify men for it? 
God knows that this man loves him above all else - God knows he can trust the care of his daughters to this particular man.

Women’s choice is always fundamental and first
The daughters freely choose a man because of the man’s God like nature. They know their husband would give his life for them. If a woman is unhappy, he will do his all to make her happy, if she chooses to leave leave its up to her, if she chooses to return the door is always open.

There are moments when they can take other husbands:
when a man incarnates, he will live life with one of his wives, his other wives will live the mortal experience with other men. Let say there are 2 brothers, resurrected being who will incarnate - one brother can ask for his brothers wife for her particular gifts and experiences in prior lives.

At the end of time of that creation, all his wives are given back to him, always respecting free will.

Only those who have resurrected live this law. Those who honor women, their virtue and choice.

Why is it so special: 
Because one resurrected man, with 5 wives and 6 children each, will produce 30 little precious babies. His powerful ministry and that of his wives will allow not just those 30 but all of those who come through them generation after generation to become Gods.

“For behold, this is my work and my glory—to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.” (Moses 1:39)

And what is the point of a species but to grow and expand - of all the creations in the galaxy, the Fiery Ones, the Shinning ones - those that dwell in unquenchable fire - are the closest to the Great God who’s name is unspeakable.

The works of God continue, And worlds and lives abound;
 Improvement and progression Have one eternal round.

It is given by God and lived through the principles of Zion

If you have one beautiful daughter of God can give you so much joy, connection, and strength - and provide beautiful little ones - for you to take to your God - imagine multiplying that, living the way of life that the Elohim live - how strong could this man become, you might say he could even become as God

You make good points definitely worthy of thoughtful consideration. But I’m sure it will draw plenty of knee-jerk reactions to the contrary. If there is a hated principle that the vast majority of LDS can agree about and coalesce around their opposition to at this point, it is plural marriage.

Although some may certainly disagree, from my perspective, you seem to be on solid ground with all your points, and especially the requirement of the first wife's agreement. That seems to be a very fundamental and necessary principle and requirement in the whole equation.

Definitely we have to choose someone who is an adding to our family culture and has Zion like qualities, they have to love children, love to be moms -

7. A soft woman
8. A feminine woman

10. A hard-working woman
11. A helpful woman
12. A sweet woman
13. A kind woman
14. A woman who speaks appropriately
15. A woman who carries herself sophisticatedly
16. A smart woman
17. A woman who studies the word of God
18. A woman who does not slander
19. A woman does not speak ill of her neighbor
20. A woman who smiles
21. A woman with a good sense of humor
22. A woman who loves her Husband with all her heart
23. A woman who values what a man is
24. A woman immovable in her fidelity
25. A frugal woman
26. A happy woman

It's a great list. But, in this telestial world, does such a woman even exist? If so, no telestial man exists who would be worthy of her.

There are some - we all have some good characteristics already - then you work on the gospel - repent find you weakness and become like the Savior

Men should strive to be

1. Love God
2. Love and cherish Women
3. Love children
4. Be a teacher
5. Respect them
6. Be soft and gentle with them
7. Be kind with them
8. Have patience with them
9. Listen to them
10. Be a rock an allow that feminine explosive energy to come at them
11. Be strong
12. Be courages
13. Be Hardworking
14. Know that you are the base of it all
15. Be determined
16. Be a fighter
17. Be honest
18. Be straight forward
19. Be strict
20. Be gentle
21. Be intelligent
22. Listen to her counsel - when Wisdom speak to her
23. Be tough
24. Be a problem solver
25. Be tenacious
26. Be a gentlemen
27. Be a light to those in the house
28. Love her like the way you love your daughter
29. Honor them
30. Defend them
31. Be Forgiving
32. Understanding
33. strive for excelence
