Church "celebrates" 10 years with UNICEF...yes, that UNICEF
It's been a couple weeks since the church celebrated the gay marriage act...so it's high time to celebrate something...
The TRUTH about UNICEF:
"Any efforts to prevent minors from accessing pornography online, according to UNICEF, may be infringing on their human rights."
"The UNICEF report urged children to “seeing the nuances” that lead them to seek out and read sexual materials on the internet."
"UNICEF has largely joined the feminist drive for abortion at the United Nations. After WWII, the children’s organisation was established to assist displaced children. UNICEF has moved far from its basic purpose, according to critics, and their plea for children’s access to pornography under the cover of human rights and sex-ed highlights this shift."
"UNICEF: $1.4billion For Employees’ Benefits; Only $0.141billion Left For Children?"
Are you TBMs starting to see a disturbing pattern yet?

Of course they did. They have been educated at BYU in this mindset for awhile. In 2010 BYU had a UNICEF club.

Seems like all those UN-<alphabetsoup> agencies have similar priorities.
In the Beverly Campbell research she talks a lot about a guy named Greg Newell.
Even he could see the problems with these UN agencies:
'"While Newell was an assistant secretary of state, the United States withdrew from UNESCO in 1985. Newell criticized UNESCO, stating that they spent eighty percent of its funds on administration. Newell also criticized UNESCO for supporting "Soviet-inspired" disarmament of countries and favoring the rights of states over individual rights. UNESCO was also criticized for being hostile to the free market and free press.[6][7] Newell argued that US withdrawal would spur reform fastest and cited the 1977 US exit from the International Labor Organization (ILO) in Geneva as a similar example where an organization changed after the US withdrew from an organization.[8] UNESCO spokesperson Doudou Diene remarked that the US had not submitted any reform proposal or informed UNESCO of any conditions of their membership. Newell stated that the US had made specific requests.[6] The official statement of the US's withdrawal called UNESCO's reforms of the last year "incremental" but not "concrete."[9] Democratic Senator Ted Kennedy praised Newell's withdrawal from UNESCO "as a result of serious problems that plagued that agency administratively and politically."'

The TBM's in order to stay with the apostate church are going to have to adopt more and more mental gymnastices unless they continue to keep their head in the sand! The Red Pill wrote: ↑January 20th, 2023, 10:17 am Screenshot_20230120_095313_Brave.jpg

I’ve been trying to remember or think how I would’ve handled this kind of information before awakening early last year. My best guess is my mind would’ve gone numb/blanked out/fuzzed up, and I would likely have shook my head and moved on. And I would’ve felt good about it.

While some sources may be nice, are you insinuating that the statements are false?
Do you only accept statements/ facts on COVID vaccines that originate from the CDC?
Do you believe that UNICEF would openly acknowledge such things to the public? Do you believe the church would acknowledge that they continue to support UNICEF, who openly supports these things?
I wonder, if the CHURCH organization sat down for a hypothetical temple recommend interview, how they would answer the question as to if they support any organization or group that teaches and supports principles that are contrary to the gospel.

How dare the Church find areas of common ground and then unite with a group bigger than itself to take care of babies, children and refugees!!!!
Shocking, I tell you!!!
This is exactly as Jesus Christ would do in this day and age.
You guys need to stop pretending that you are on an island.

Oh yeah, and if not UNICEF, who should the Church partner with in order to send food and aid to the refugees in these lands where the Church would not be recognized by itself?
I have yet to hear ANY responses from ANYONE considering the second part.

Church should be supplying food and aid to the poor among them and their own members, instead of the alleged poor somewhere across the world where we don't even know if they actually exist, but you better believe the TV cameras will be rolling to watch them make a show of it.Subcomandante wrote: ↑January 20th, 2023, 4:32 pmWhat is Babylon? Why should the church partner up with anybody? Did they partner with anybody after the aftermath of WWII to give aid there?

How many people in your ward do you think AREN'T Babylonian debt slaves?
And what is one of the major reasons that many members of your ward can't climb out of their debt slavery?
And how could the Church help its own members, if it so chose to?
Interesting questions.
No answers forthcoming, I'm afraid.

There are homeless all over the Salt Lake downtown area...and what does the church do right in it's own back yard?
NOTHING!!
...meanwhile a cool 150 billion is safely tucked away at Ensign Peak Advisors.
UNICEF is notorious for fraud and abuse. The church only wants to please their global overlords and look good in the press.
Take your "this is what Jesus would do" self rightous lecture somewhere else Sub...

Sub, we LITERALLY are a WORLDWIDE church that has all the resources, infrastructure, and manpower to administer monies to all the poor we need to RIGHT FROM OUR MEETINGHOUSES.
I know, because I'm part of the corporation that does it here in my little corner of the vineyard.
There is LITERALLY no reason to partner with anyone.
Give me a break, man.
