U.K. Prosecutors: Some Bible Verses “No Longer Appropriate” to Be Quoted in Public - The New American

British prosecutors declared recently that certain Bible passages are “no longer appropriate” to be uttered in public.

“There are references in the bible which are simply no longer appropriate in modern society and which would be deemed offensive if stated in public,” lawyers from the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) told the court.

The statement occurred in the course of CPS’ prosecution of street preacher John Dunn for the alleged crime of offending two lesbians by quoting Scripture to them.

Anti-Lockdown Stanford Professor: “Academic Freedom Is Dead” – Summit News

A Stanford Professor who challenged the orthodoxy of lockdowns has warned that “academic freedom is dead,” and that all those who have stood up to the regime narrative now face “a deeply hostile work environment.”

Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, an author of the Great Barrington Declaration in which thousands of scientists called for a policy of herd immunity over lockdowns, warned that “When you take a position that is at odds with the scientific clerisy, your life becomes a living hell.”

Speaking at the Academic Freedom Conference at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business recently, Bhattacharya, who previously described lockdowns as the most catastrophically harmful policy in “all of history,” and “the single worst public health mistake in the last 100 years,” noted “we have a high clerisy that declares from on high what is true and what is not true.”

“The Crown alleged that he was guilty … of hate speech because he had ‘offended’ and ‘upset’ a member of the public,”

This is where we are? Stating a belief or opinion that offends someone or upsets someone is now a crime.

Btw the Scripture in question is 1 Cor 6

I have listened to Glen Beck at various times over the years. At times, I've been critical of his direction . He can be quite dramatic, etc .

This video impressed me. He was by far, the most sincere that I've ever observed him to be. His dream is true. I've had experiences which confirm this. What we see in this world is only a veneer of what is actually going on. The powerful people that supposedly are in charge.... are not.

mes5464 wrote: October 10th, 2022, 11:28 am UPDATE: Oath Keepers Sedition Trial Under Scrutiny After Leaked FBI Document Shows Members Protected Capitol Police - The New American

However, a twist came on Oct. 6 with the release of a court-sealed FBI document showing that “the prosecution is lying to the jury,” and that Oath Keepers indicted on major felony charges came to the aid of Capitol Police and “are not guilty.”

Jonathon Moseley, a former attorney representing Oath Keepers defendant Kelly Meggs, wrote in a statement originally obtained by The Epoch Times:
This document — together with a photograph of the moment inside the US Capitol on January 6 — proves that the prosecution is lying to the jury. No one who engages in seditious conspiracy or insurrection stops to come to the aid of the police against the mob….

If the Oath Keepers were involved in any way in any insurrection or conspiracy to obstruct the Joint Session of Congress on January 6, would they turn and stand between the U.S. Capitol Police against the mob? This is not merely a good act. This is absolute proof that there never was any insurrection or seditious conspiracy. The prosecution’s entire case is a fraud upon the American people.
The oath keepers leader was just convicted of sedition (“seditious conspiracy”).

San Francisco approves 'deadly force option' for police robots - TheBlaze

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors approved a request by police for the allowance of a "deadly force option" on robots already in law enforcement use.

The San Francisco Police Department asked for permission related to military grade machines that are operated by trained officers.

The department already uses 17 robots, but only 12 are functional and five are out of commission. They can now potentially be used to kill suspects during critical incidents.

"While an explosive charge may be considered an intermediate force option, it could potentially cause injury or be lethal," said a police statement. "Robots equipped in this manner would only be used in extreme circumstances to save or prevent further loss of innocent lives."

A similar request was made by the Oakland police, but the language approving the policy was later removed.

Critics decried the plan to use police robots in a lethal manner.

note the damaged portions. The metal is melted. What combusted? What was ignited? The car parts that I am seeing aren't even combustible without another intense heat source.

those guys in the photo are likely asking the same questions. WTH happened?

Maryland county first on East Coast to ban natural gas heat for new buildings | Just The News

Montgomery County, Md., on Tuesday enacted the East Coast's first countywide ban on using natural gas for heating purposes in new buildings.

County Executive Marc Elrich has not yet signed the ban into law, but is expected to do so as he has previously voiced support for the measure, according to Energy Wire. The nine members of the Montgomery County Council, all Democrats, voted unanimously to enact the Comprehensive Building Decarbonization plan, which is slated to take effect in 2026.

A template of the plan, introduced earlier this year, stated that 50% of the county's greenhouse gas emissions for the year 2017 came from environmental inefficiencies, which the new all-electric standards would gradually work to reduce.

‘SafeBlood’ Hardliners Want to Set Up Unvaccinated Blood Banks

SafeBlood Donation was founded by a Swiss naturopath, George Della Pietra, who considers global coronavirus vaccination campaigns to be “the crime of the century.”

He and his supporters believe, wrongly, that mRNA coronavirus vaccines “contaminate” the blood and destroy the immune system, and that unvaccinated people will be harmed if they receive transfusions of blood supplied by vaccinated people.

Paralympian claims Canada offered to euthanise her when she asked for a stairlift
A Paralympic army veteran told stunned lawmakers in Canada when she claimed that a government official had offered to give her euthanisia equipment while fighting to have a wheelchair lift installed in her home.

Retired corporal Christine Gauthier, who competed at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Paralympics, testified on Thursday that the unnamed veterans affairs case worker had offered in writing to provide her with a medically-assisted dying device, the CBC reported.

“I have a letter saying that if you’re so desperate, madam, we can offer you MAID, medical assistance in dying,” Ms Gauthier, 52, told a House of Commons veterans affairs committee, according to the CBC.

Retired Maine State Trooper Awarded $300,000 in Whistleblower Lawsuit Over Law Enforcement Targeting Gun Owners

A now-retired Maine state trooper has been awarded $300,000 in a lawsuit after facing retaliation for blowing the whistle on a state police division that was gathering intelligence on several groups of people, including gun owners.
George Loder, 53, had filed a lawsuit over retaliation he faced when he went to his superiors with concerns about the intelligence operation.

Aside from gun owners, the division was working with the Maine Information and Analysis Center in Augusta to collect intelligence on power line protesters and employees at a camp for Israeli and Arab teens.

None of the people targeted for surveillance were engaged in illegal activity, according to the whistleblower.

Democrats push to lower voting age to 16 | Just The News

The Democrat-led movement to lower the legal voting age to 16 — or in some cases even younger — is gaining momentum nationwide, scoring local victories while winning the support of lawmakers and activists on the political left.

The campaign's latest win came in Boston, where the City Council on Wednesday approved a petition allowing 16- and 17-year-old residents to vote in municipal elections.

The petition will now be sent to the Massachusetts Legislature for approval, which isn't guaranteed. Several other towns and cities in Massachusetts have voted for similar proposals, which then failed to pass the state House.

Corporate landlords are gobbling up mobile home parks and rapidly driving up rents — here’s why the space is so attractive to them

The hunt for yield has pushed private equity firms and professional investors into new segments of the real estate market.

In recent years, sophisticated investors have snapped up multi-family units and single-family homes. Now, corporate landlords are targeting the most cost-effective segment of the real estate market: mobile home parks.

Not just trailer parks...buying up housing too. Corporate oligarchs realized houses are inflation safe investments. Their goal is to own as much as possible of housing, land and means of production.

Bidens policy of increased mortgage rates creates barriers for average Americans to purchase a home, but plays right into the Corporate goals of buying real estate and renting to the plebeians. Almost as if it was planned....
