English a minority in their two largest cities

Post by Niemand »

I have remarked on this for years when visiting London. In many places it's obvious that there are very few indigenous Londoners left, but I've been told I've been called racist for saying so. Turns out thst it is statistical fact.

England is not like America. It is a long settled nation. It was populous mostly by organic growth, not immigration like New York or Chicago. Then came imperialism and some of its population went elsewhere. Then came the back flow and contraception.

More shockingly this is something which has happened within my lifetime and that of my parents.

Note that these figures don't even refer to English specifically but to all the other UK ethnic groups living there. There are some parts of rural Scotland and Wales, which have a far higher percentage of English people living in them than some parts of England itself do. This article lumps England and Wales together even though Wales has traditionally had its own language in many areas, which adds another dimension to things.

The pace in Scotland itself has been slower but has picked up in the last ten years or so. Often driven by recuitment campaigns. Scots are already a minority within the UK and will no doubt end up becoming one within their own country like the much more numerous English are already becoming.

A significant number of these people are illegals. Albanians and Syrians especially just now. Ukrainians are coming in large numbers with official permission. Some of these people are bright, nice young things... some of them are war criminals, rapists and worse... and there is no real filtration in that respect. Many of the illegal immigrants will not be on the census because they won't have filled it out.

This has been driven by various forces. In more recent times, five of the main culprits would be:

* low local birthrate.
* the European Union.
* NATO which has been involved in stoking up wars around the Mediterranean and eastern Europe.
* UNHCR - this is one of the orgs that the LDS' Light the World supports. They decide where people are to be resettled.
* Major corporate employers who seek out ethnic minorities to "diversify their workforce"

In the end, the real goal is not diversity, it's homogeneity and London looks like many other corners of the world now. There is nothing "diverse" about concrete buildings, junk food and music and people which could be from just about anywhere.

Politicians like Boris Johnson and the current crew pretend to be moderating immigration to reasonable levels when instead they are letting in thousands... and are following WEF protocols.

Britain’s two largest cities are now minority white British, the census has revealed.

London and Birmingham now both have minority populations who identify as white British, according to the results of the census, with statisticians saying the figures indicate the "increasingly multicultural society we live in".

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) data show that in 2011 the white British population of Birmingham accounted for 581,000, or 52 per cent of the city. By 2021, that fell to 43 per cent, or 491,000 people.

Meanwhile in London, the figures fell from 45 per cent, or 4.9 million people in 2011, to 37 per cent, or 4.7 million people in 2021.

Analysis conducted by Migration Watch said: "The Census figures reveal the extent of huge demographic changes wrought by mass immigration for the population of England and Wales."

The ONS found that the number of people in England and Wales identifying their ethnic group as white has fallen by around 500,000 over a decade.

Some 81.7 per cent of residents described themselves as white on the day of the 2021 census, down from 86 per cent in 2011.

The second most common ethnic group was 'Asian, Asian British or Asian Welsh' at 9.3 per cent, up from 7.5 per cent in 2011.

People identifying as 'White: Other', stood at 3.7 million (6.2 per cent) in 2021, up from 2.5 million (4.4 per cent) in 2011.

The number of people identifying their ethnic group as 'Other' also rose to 924,000 (1.6 per cent), up from 333,000 (0.6 per cent) in 2011.

Furthermore, those identifying as 'Black, Black British, Black Welsh, Caribbean or African' also increased (2.5 per cent, 1.5 million in 2021, up from 1.8 per cent, 990,000).

Around one in 10 households (2.5 million) contained members from at least two different ethnic groups in 2021. This is an increase from 8.7 per cent in 2011.

Jon Wroth-Smith, census deputy director, said: "Today's data highlights the increasingly multi-cultural society we live in. The percentage of people identifying their ethnic group as 'White: English, Welsh, Scottish, Northern Irish or British', continues to decrease.

"Whilst this remains the most common response to the ethnic group question, the number of people identifying with another ethnic group continues to increase."

He added: "However, the picture varies depending on where you live. London remains the most ethnically diverse region of England, where just under two-thirds identify with an ethnic minority group, whereas under one in 10 identify this way in the North East [of England].

"But despite the ethnically diverse nature of society, nine in 10 people across England and Wales still identify with a UK national identity, with nearly eight in 10 doing so in London."

There are 90,000 less white British in Birmingham and .2 million less in London in just ten years? Where are they going?

I'm not actually using the term "British" here, because I think that reflects non-English people too. Not all English people in these cities are local either of course, since many English move from other parts of the country, but that allows us to zone into the core native population.

Here are the brief facts:
* Birmingham is largely a dump. There are some good parts to live in like Edgbaston, but a lot of it is not very nice and bland at best.
* London is horrifically expensive, and also very polluted and crime ridden. Typical large city syndrome.
* Both cities suffer from massive urban decay. This isn't all down to immigration, but also WW2 (which was particularly hard on Birmingham) and bad maintenance.
* Aging population, low birth rate.
* Commuters - a lot of white people prefer to commute into the big cities from smaller towns.
* Outmigration - to other parts of the country, and also overseas. Plenty of English now living in Spain, Dubai, Cyprus etc etc.

I don't know Birmingham really, but I wouldn't want to live in most of London. Like New York etc, the choice seems to be between slum accommodation which the immigrants tend to favour, and very expensive housing. (This is also favoured by immigrants, but this time the globalist jet set, Russian oligarchs etc.)

It looks like a case of "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em."
