I used to watch YouTube videos about giants, the evidence was quite convincing. Across all cultures they always had 6 fingers on each hand, two rows of teeth on each jaw, were cannibals, and had red hair. How is it that nearly every culture across the world reports these same features.

The Bible says they existed after the flood as well, it just doesn't say how they survived.

Knew this would come up at some point. Seems to be some evidence of this, but I find most of these videos ridiculous normally... and the usual thing about the Smithsonian.

Anasazi Indian chiefs have claimed Noahs ark took place in the Monument Valley area. Stories passed down for centuries from the people who have been here the longest. They were laughing when the Christian missionarys showed up and had the same stories.

At least some of the Old Testiment pre/Noah were on this continent. Maybe from Adam and Eve until this point before the flood happened. Giants were in area. Maybe that explains some things and is connected. I was thinking about all this from your post. If I find these videos again I will get them posted.

I've always been really critical about all the giant stuff. But with all the evidence that has come out I have been looking more into it. Still have a lot of questions.

Nephi. Nephilim. Any connection?

nephilim were giants. nephi is "large in stature".

nephilim were destroyed whereas noah+fam get shepherded safely to a new world. jerusalem was destroyed whereas nephi+fam get shepherded safely to a new world. both are commanded to construct ships

nephilim were the conduits for occult knowledge and the secrets of arts, culture and technology. we see this same theme of odd, unexplainable technology of "exceedingly curious workmanship" like the liahona.

plus there's interesting cross associations b/w the nephilim and laban.

this is just scratching the surface of antediluvian and 1 nephi connections, there's a lot more.

I suspect Nephilim is either conflated with or a corruption of bene elohim or bene ha elohom (בְנֵי־הָאֱלֹהִים ), meaning the sons of the gods. This phrase does not necessarily mean the sons themselves are honorable.

The phrase appears in Genesis 6, and is followed shortly after by the mention of giants:

the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. 3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. 4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

The Book of Enoch (1 Enoch) describes some of this in more detail as does Jubilees. The relevant sections in Enoch are in the Book of the Watchers which comprises chapters 1–36.
