Joe Biden's economic approval now worse than Jimmy Carter's, who lost in a landslide election to Ronald Reagan

December 22, 2021

President  Joe Biden's economic ratings are officially worse than Jimmy Carter's, an ominous sign for Biden's re-election hopes  and overall presidential legacy.

According to the latest CNN/SSRS poll, Biden's economic approval rating among registered voters is just 45%, while his economic disapproval rating is 54% — a net approval rating of -9%.

CNN noted that its poll number is actually four points better than the average of all economic approval ratings surveyed in December, which stands at -13%. That means Biden currently boasts the "the lowest net economic rating of any president at this point through their first term since at least Jimmy Carter in 1977," CNN explained.

But it gets worse.

Not only does Biden sport the lowest net economic rating one year into his presidency since Carter, but it's 18 points worse than the average president's at this point in the presidency. According to CNN, the average president boasts a +5% economic approval rating at the one-year mark.

Other important data from the poll:

75% of registered voters said they are worried about the economy, while just 25% said they are not worried about the economy;
63% of registered voters described the current economic conditions as "poor," while just 37% described them as "good";
45% of registered voters believe Biden's policies have "worsened economic conditions in the country," compared to just 30% who believe his policies have improved the economy;
66% of registered voters said they "have some doubts and reservations" about Biden, while just 34% said Biden "is a leader you can trust."
Additionally, 67% of respondents told pollsters that government spending is a "major problem," 70% said high gas costs are a "major problem," 77% said the rising cost of housing is a "major problem," 79% said supply-chain disruptions are a "major problem," and 80% said rising cost of food and everyday goods is a "major problem."

If Biden does not find a solution, and fast, his presidential legacy may become the same as Carter's — or worse.

Not only is Carter known for not solving the economic crisis of the late 1970s, but Carter is known for being on the losing side of one of America's greatest presidential election landslides. In 1980, Republican Ronald Reagan won an astounding 489 Electoral College votes, while Carter — the incumbent — won just 49.

Through polling, Americans are continually showing that the economy is the most important issue for them today. If Biden doesn't turn the tide soon, Democrats stand to face not only electoral disaster in 2022, but in 2024, too.

Why are so many continuing to behave as if we live in a democracy!

I don't how long our elections have been manipulated - maybe many decades - but I know FOR SURE the last election wasn't just manipulated, it was rigged. It was a coup. I think we are now living in a de facto police state and all future voting will either be purely cosmetic or actually suspended.

It bothers me how few people are facing this reality.

Relax, NeveR. We all know these things - nothing you said is new or unknown to any of us here - in fact, we've been discussing it for years. Oh, and we in the United States have never lived in a "democracy". It bothers me how few people are facing this reality.

It bothers me that many, and perhaps most American voters, if they understood what their lives would be like if the United States had retained the inspired formula of the original U.S. Constitution, would choose government as it is today or even further away from the principles of the Constitution.

And it bothers me that some of the more egregious violations of the Constitution have been extremely beneficial financially to certain individuals and groups, at the expense of the rest of us.

Any ideas on how we can instill in more people (perhaps Latter-day Saint people to begin with) a desire to learn, uphold, and abide by the U.S. Constitution, even if the return to those principles is gradual?

Biden says 'this looks stupid' as he removes his face mask while speaking to reporters outside White House

January 11, 2022

Did we get a glimpse of how President Joe Biden truly may feel about wearing COVID-19 face masks — particularly while outside?

'This looks stupid'

On Tuesday, Biden removed his face mask and declared "this looks stupid" amid a chuckle while speaking to reporters outside the White House.

‘Pretextual war on parents’: NSBA letter comparing parents to domestic terrorists was ordered by Biden’s education secretary, email shows

January 11, 2022

The highly controversial National School Boards Association letter sent to President Joe Biden that compared protesting parents to domestic terrorists and led the FBI to use counterterrorism tactics against parents was drafted at the direction of Biden's education secretary, Miguel Cardona, a newly obtained email indicates.

The potential bombshell — which raises serious concerns that the Biden administration engaged in a preconceived war on concerned American parents — was revealed in an Oct. 5 email exchange between two of the NSBA's board members, Marnie Maldonado and Kristi Swett.

In the exchange, Swett, who serves as the association's secretary-treasurer, responded to concerns from Maldonado about the letter by recounting that interim CEO Chip Slaven had "told the [board] officers he was writing a letter to provide information to the White House, from a request by Secretary Cardona."

The email communication was unearthed by the activist group Parents Defending Education through a Freedom of Information Act request.

Parents Defending Education previously reported that the NSBA had coordinated with the White House and the Department of Justice for weeks prior to the sending of the letter, notifying state directors that "a letter requesting federal assistance would be sent." The association even allegedly altered the letter's text at the White House's request.

What's more, the infamous letter, sent Sept. 29, was directly relied upon by Attorney General Merrick Garland in his issuing of an Oct. 4 memo dispatching the FBI to address a supposed "disturbing spike" of "harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence" against school administrators, board members, and other personnel.

In the letter, NSBA officials claimed that education leaders around the country were under "immediate threat" for "approving policies for masks to protect the health and safety of students and school employees" and "propaganda purporting the false inclusion of critical race theory within classroom instruction and curricula."

They urged the government to act on their behalf, in part, by classifying alleged threats from parents as acts of "domestic terrorism" and "hate crimes."

It was later revealed that the FBI did just that, creating a "threat tag, EDUOFFICIALS," for agents to "track" any "threats of violence or fear" against school personnel.

If true that Cardona originally requested the letter, it would mean that the Biden administration was involved in the formulation of a policy to track and monitor parents as domestic terrorists from start to finish.

It seems that the administration only wanted the cover of an urgent request for assistance from the NSBA to bolster its predetermined plans to go after parents protesting COVID-19 policies and critical race theory teaching.

"Should this allegation be true, it would reveal that this administration's pretextual war on parents came from the highest levels," Nicole Neily, president of Parents Defending Education, told Fox News in a statement.

"Attorney General Merrick Garland unequivocally stated that he based his memo on the NSBA's letter — which in turn, mobilized the FBI and US Attorneys," she added. "If Secretary Cardona was truly involved in this ugly episode, it is a significant breach of public trust, and he should be held accountable." [Garland, Cardona, and O'Biden should all be in prison, without question, and post haste. I'd put what I really think should happen with them, but....]

In a statement, Education and Labor Committee Republican Leader Rep. Virginia Foxx (N.C.) said the news proved that "from the very beginning, the targeting of concerned parents has been nothing short of a witch hunt orchestrated by partisan demagogues in the White House, Department of Justice, and the Department of Education."

“It is abundantly clear to me that Secretary Cardona must answer to the Education and Labor Committee, Congress on the whole, and especially the American people," Foxx added. "Anything less is an insult to the proud parents who want to better the education of their children. This pattern of behavior displayed by the Biden administration — let alone the Secretary of Education — is what one could expect from a political arsonist."

Report Shows Biden Admin Run By Former Registered Foreign Agents
BY: TRISTAN JUSTICE
AUGUST 05, 2022

More than a dozen high-ranking members of the Biden administration were previously registered foreign agents.

More than a dozen high-ranking members of the Biden administration previously worked as registered foreign agents, according to a new report obtained exclusively by The Federalist. The report was published by the Biden administration watchdog “Inside Biden’s Basement,” itself a project of the nonprofit Transparency Action Fund.

Titled, “Foreign Agents Lurking Inside Biden’s Basement,” the group’s new report outlines the networks of at least 13 officials under President Joe Biden who were once paid to represent foreign interests and registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). Their prior clients range from Iran and Kazakhstan to Canada and Mexico.

Biden is making me sicker everyday. He has a strange relationship with the truth. He either can’t remember the facts or he is straight up lying. His career has been one lie after another, but now he seems completely divorced from reality. The nation won’t survive two more years of this even with a GOP Congress. And Kamala seems to have caught Biden disease. The Republic is on life support.

The Biden Admin reveals its new National Security Strategy: climate change, diversity, equity and inclusion

The inmates have taken over the ideological asylum.

Jordan Schachtel
Oct 12

The Biden Administration released its first National Security Strategy (NSS) document Wednesday, and it is exponentially more unhinged than any of its predecessors. The NSS was once understood as a serious document compiling a list of *actual* threats to the nation. It now resembles a hyper-political Blue Anon fundraising mailer.

Most of the items discussed in the supposed threat assessment have nothing to do with national security at all. And the things that are related to national security matters have major prioritization and politicization issues.

Prior to launching The Dossier, your humble correspondent was a somewhat seasoned national security correspondent. As a periodic consumer of these strategy documents, I can assure you that not even the Obama Administration inserted its political agenda as aggressively as the Biden regime is choosing to do this year. [Obama is pulling Biden's strings; and the Globalists are pulling Obama's strings]

A simple word search gives the reader a sense of the White House’s priorities.

Russia takes top billing. It is referred to 71 times, in the most hysterical way imaginable. According to Team Biden, Putin is a war criminal, whose armies entered Ukraine for no reason whatsoever other than to impose carnage upon Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Speaking of Ukraine, the memo discusses Ukraine 33 times.

China, on the other hand, only gets 14 mentions, and the CCP is likened to a friendly competitor, like a mere player on the other side of a chess game.

Other than Putin, the number one “national security” priority of this administration is Climate Change, which is referenced 63 times in the National Security Strategy. Moreover, the importance of the energy “transition” away from reliable energy resources is referred to 11 times in the document.

Now, a progressive neoliberal administration’s threat assessment wouldn’t be complete without discussing “diversity” (16 mentions), “equity” (14 hits), and “inclusion,” (24 times) or what the wokes refer to as DEI.

The document concludes that the United States is “making meaningful progress on issues like climate change, global health, and food security to improve the lives not just of Americans but of people around the world.”

The NSS has been prepared periodically by the executive branch since the Reagan Administration, upon the passage of the Goldwater-Nichols act of 1986. The document is purposed with informing Congress and the public on the administration’s chief national security priorities, and how the White House intends to deal with them.

For this White House, the NSS reveals that its top priorities involve blaming Russia for everything, advancing the climate hoax, and facilitating the woke agenda globally through the U.S. military’s bloated bureaucracy and budget.

The American people (especially Gen Xers and single women) just passed on stopping Biden. They are more interested in abortion, LGBT rights and marijuana than economic freedom and real constitutional rights.I’m an old guy. They are going to eventually get what they want good and hard. We know quite a few socialists - many are in our ward and stake. Of those, only one is a single woman (never married, no children), and she is 66 years old. All the rest are married, with most being over 50. A few of them are younger married couples (they are the most loud, obnoxious ones) with school-age children. Several of my nephews and nieces are socialists, sadly (none of my siblings are, but they stupidly sent their kids to be indoctrinated at BYU, and most of them came out as socialists) - all of them are married with children, except one niece who decided to be a lesbian. So it's a very wide range of people who are choosing evil.

But I agree - they will get what they (think they) want - it's just extremely unfortunate that the rest of us have to suffer right along with them (at least for now). Most don't even know what constitutional rights are, let alone care about them. They think their "rights" come from government. On another thread, I shared the John Adams quote, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." We are, by and large, no longer a "moral and religious" people - and the government we have now is a true reflection of that.

Our traitorous, fake president (and those controlling him, and ALL those who voted for the criminal). If there's a way they can screw the American people, the American taxpayers, and our Constitution - they surely will, and do. A grove of tall trees, and a pile of short ropes are what is needed, including for the evil, commie Mexican president and the equally evil, commie Turdeau. The death penalty?? Yeah, right here, right now, for these three bastards.

Mexican president thanks Biden for not securing American border with 'even one meter of wall'
January 11, 2023

The president of Mexico thanked President Joe Biden for failing to secure America's southern border and insisted that he grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens who have stolen into the United States.

Biden met with the leftist Mexican leader Andres Manuel López Obrador and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Mexico City on Tuesday for the North American Leaders' Summit. The topic that dominated the summit was what Biden called "the greatest migration in human history."

Standing alongside Biden and Trudeau, Obrador remarked, "President Biden, you are the first president of the United States in a very long time that has not built not even one meter of wall and ... we thank you for that, sir."

465,034 illegal aliens were encountered at the border in the first two months of this fiscal year; 2.37 million criminal noncitizens poured over the southern border last year, and millions more stole over in 2021.

Not that voting counts or matters anymore, at least in state or national elections, but how completely ignorant or evil does a person have to be to have actually voted for Biden? Or to think that he actually won that election?? At any rate, these are just a few of his choice deeds last year alone.

A Disaster For Every Month: The Worst Scandals, Abuses, And Embarrassments Of Joe Biden’s Second Year In Office
BY: ELLE PURNELL
JANUARY 20, 2023

The first year of Joe Biden’s presidency prolifically delivered examples of corruption and incompetence, and his second year in office — which drew to a close on Thursday — has been no different.

Last year, The Federalist collected “A Scandal For Every Month: The Biggest Botches, Failures, And Mess-Ups Of Joe Biden’s First 12 Months In Office.” At the end of that piece, I expressed hope that 2022 would see fewer disasters flow from the White House. Unfortunately for the country, the roundup from year No. 2 is just as grim.

January: Biden Compared Filibuster Defenders to Historical Racists

Last year’s list concluded with a bonus item for January 2022: Biden comparing his agenda’s critics — which include Democrat Sens. Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona — to former Alabama Gov. George Wallace and Confederate leader Jefferson Davis.

In a Jan. 11 speech urging the U.S. Senate to ditch filibuster rules in order to pass his radical and unconstitutional federalization of election laws, Biden asked, “Do you want to be the side of Dr. King or George Wallace? Do you want to be the side of John Lewis or Bull Connor? Do you want to be the side of Abraham Lincoln or Jefferson Davis?”

February: Incompetent Response to Russia-Ukraine War

Before, during, and since Russia’s decision to invade Ukraine in February, the Biden administration’s response has been marked by incompetence. Biden waived sanctions on the Russian Nord Stream 2 pipeline before the war in 2021, crippled American energy production, and turned to Russian ally Venezuela for oil after the conflict erupted. In January 2022, right before Russia’s invasion, Biden signaled a green light to Russian President Vladimir Putin, responding to a question about potential plans to impose sanctions on Russia with the comments, “It’s one thing if it’s a minor incursion [into Ukraine],” and “My guess is [Putin] will move in. He has to do something.”

“Are you effectively giving Putin permission to make a small incursion into the country?” a reporter asked. Biden’s answer: “That’s how it did sound like, didn’t it?”

A month into the Russia-Ukraine war, Biden recklessly called for regime change in Russia, before reversing course and insisting he did no such thing. By November 2022, the United States had shipped out a whopping $68 billion in aid to Ukraine, with Biden requesting another $37.7 billion to put total aid in the 12-figure range.

March: Hunter Biden Corruption Scandal Resurfaces as NYT Admits Laptop’s Legitimacy

Eighteen months after the New York Post reported on a laptop belonging to Hunter Biden that contained incriminating emails about his shady foreign business deals — a bombshell that was censored in the lead-up to the 2020 presidential election — The New York Times finally, quietly admitted in March that the laptop was legitimate. As The Federalist’s Senior Legal Correspondent Margot Cleveland noted at the time, conceding the laptop’s authenticity also meant conceding that the numerous scandals contained in the laptop’s trove of documents were real.

Those scandals include an apparent pay-to-play in Ukraine, where Hunter was receiving $50,000 a month to sit on the board of corrupt energy company Burisma while his VP dad oversaw American foreign policy toward the country. During that time, Joe Biden leveraged U.S. aid to Ukraine to pressure the firing of the state prosecutor who was investigating Burisma. Hunter Biden’s scandalous transactions also indicate a deal with a Chinese company in which 10 percent was “held by H for the big guy,” presumed to be Joe Biden.

April: Biden Admin Debuts Thought Police Board

In a congressional hearing on April 27, Biden’s Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announced the creation of a “Disinformation Governance Board” to crack down on the “threat” (his word) of speech that challenges the Biden administration’s narrative on social media. The administration tapped Hunter Biden laptop truther, Christopher Steele fangirl, and censorship aficionado Nina Jankowicz to helm the project, before “pausing” the project after three weeks of outrage. Make no mistake, though — DHS assures us it’s still “continuing” to “address” speech it doesn’t like.

May: White House ‘Encourages’ Intimidation of SCOTUS Justices

After a leaker funneled a draft Supreme Court opinion overturning Roe v. Wade to Politico in early May, furious abortion supporters swarmed the private homes of the Republican-appointed justices. One left-wing group offered money to activists in return for descending on justices’ residences, even publishing their alleged addresses online. When asked about the intimidation tactics levied against the court, then-White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki refused to condemn the demonstrations, telling reporters that the Biden administration “certainly continues to encourage that outside of judges’ homes.”

In June, the threats culminated in an assassination attempt on Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s life, when a California man was arrested near Kavanaugh’s home with “a Glock handgun, ammunition, a knife, pepper spray, and various tools for forced entry.”

June: Gas Prices Surpass $5 in Record High

After the Biden administration cracked down on domestic gas production, canceled the Keystone XL pipeline, and spurred nationwide inflation, gas prices climbed. June saw several regrettable milestones.

On June 3, The Federalist recorded that the country had seen 18 records for high gas prices in just 19 days. On June 6, gas prices officially doubled what they were when Biden took office. On June 11, the national average price of a gallon of gas hit $5.00 for the first time ever. On June 14, the price of gas hit its all-time high of $5.016, and on June 19, diesel topped the charts at $5.816.

July: The Joe Biden Recession Becomes Official

As rampant inflation continued to reach and break 40-year records — exacerbated by packages dumping trillions of dollars into the economy under Biden’s watch, while the president touted his “transition” of the economy to a green pipe dream — the nation officially hit the criteria for a recession at the end of July. Gross domestic product fell by 0.9 percent in 2022’s second quarter, hitting the benchmark of back-to-back quarters of negative growth that has traditionally signaled recession.

As Federalist CEO Sean Davis noted at the time, “Private investment dropped by double digits, its worst showing since the COVID shutdown,” while “disposable personal income has now fallen for five straight quarters.”

August: Biden’s FBI Raids a Former President

Under the leadership of partisan Attorney General Merrick Garland, the Biden administration’s FBI conducted an unprecedented raid on Biden’s predecessor, 2020 presidential opponent, and potential 2024 rival Donald Trump. The stated reason for the raid was a documents dispute with the National Archives under the Presidential Records Act — but executive branch staffers and appointees (who, unlike the president, don’t have the power to declassify documents) have mishandled memos before and received wrist slaps.

The politicized nature of the raid — and of the DOJ’s attempt to turn the documents dispute into a scandal ahead of Trump’s candidacy in the 2024 election — became even more obvious after President Biden was discovered to have withheld multiple troves of classified documents from his time as vice president in multiple locations, including his garage. His own DOJ’s deference to Biden’s lawyers in that documents scandal makes their hubbub over the Trump case all the more absurd.

September: Biden’s FBI Raids Pro-Life Dad

Discontent to stop at Biden’s predecessor, the FBI executed a raid on pro-life Catholic and father of seven Mark Houck the following month. Houck’s wife described north of 20 agents with more than a dozen vehicles descending on their family home, with “big, huge rifles pointed at Mark and pointed at me and kind of pointed throughout the house,” before dragging Mark away.

What was his crime? The Justice Department accused Houck of “attacking a patient escort” at a Planned Parenthood facility, but Mark’s wife says he simply pushed away a pro-abortion man who was verbally and physically antagonizing Mark’s 12-year-old son. The man had previously had a lawsuit against Mark thrown out of district court, but the DOJ picked it up in its war on pro-life demonstrators post-Dobbs. By October, the DOJ had announced indictments of 22 pro-lifers.

October: Illegal Immigration Closes Worst Fiscal Year in History

The year 2022 was full of new records for out-of-control illegal immigration under Biden’s watch, but by the time the fiscal year closed out and the 2023 fiscal year started in October, migrant apprehensions had smashed the previous annual record. In FY 2022, Customs and Border Protection recorded nearly 2.4 million apprehensions of illegal immigrants at the southern border, compared to 1.7 million in 2021 and not even 460,000 in 2020. The totals for every month but July and August eclipsed previous years (totals for July and August 2021, also under the Biden administration, were higher than in 2022). May of 2022 saw the highest monthly number of migrant encounters ever recorded.

November: Biden Buys Votes with Unconstitutional Student Loan Bailout

Biden’s plan to put taxpayers on the hook for roughly $300 billion to cover student loan debts for affluent college graduates found itself smacked down by the judiciary several times in November — but not before the president had used the illegal scheme to win over young voters for his political allies in the midterm election. Announced in August, the plan constituted an unconstitutional usurpation of the legislative branch’s authority to expend government (i.e., taxpayer) funds.

A survey from Intelligent in the summer of 2022 found that 23 percent of voters said they wouldn’t vote for Biden in 2024 unless he made “some or all” student loan debt disappear. The ploy did what it was designed to do in November, with Gen Z and millennials turning out in high numbers for Democrats.

December: ‘Twitter Files’ Show Biden Asked Big Tech for Censorship

A cache of internal Twitter documents revealed in December showed the Biden administration had pressured Twitter to censor and “de-platform” accounts that challenged the regime’s narrative about Covid shots. Other “Twitter Files” released the same month revealed that even before Biden won the White House, his campaign team was sending similar censorship requests to the Big Tech company, this time about embarrassing images of his scandal-embroiled son, Hunter.

The Biden team’s penchant for colluding with Big Tech to censor unflattering information or dissenting opinions is consistent with the administration’s 2021 admission that it was “flagging” social media posts it deemed “misinformation” for its allies at Facebook.

It's still a toss-up as to which is the United States most racist president ever - Obama or Biden. Probably a tie. But there is no doubt about who is the most demented president the U.S. has ever had - Uchtdorf supported him, for one.

Biden raises eyebrows with racial comment at Black History Month event: 'But I'm not stupid'
Yes, yes you are.
February 28, 2023

President Joe Biden made a bizarre race-related comment on Monday at a Black History Month event hosted at the White House.

Speaking about the "Divine Nine" — the nine black Greek fraternities and sororities — Biden told the crowd that he is "not stupid," despite being white, because he knows where the "power is."

"I know real power when I see it: the Divine Nine," he said, thanking the presidents of the Greek letter organizations for their attendance.

"And, by the way, you know I'm not — I may be a white boy, but I'm not stupid," he added, drawing laughter from the crowd. "I know where the power is."

"You think I'm joking," he continued. "I learned a long time ago about the Divine Nine. And that's why I spent so much time at Delaware State, campaigning and organizing my campaign in Delaware."

It's not immediately clear what Biden was trying to say. He was accused of suggesting that all white people are stupid and promoting self-hatred for white people.

The full context, however, suggests that Biden admitted to spending "so much time" campaigning at Delaware State University — a historically black college — because he believed that currying favor with black voters would help him win elections.

For decades, Democrats have been accused of assuming that certain demographics of voters — black, Hispanic, women, etc. — are guaranteed to vote for them. Biden infamously embodied that twisted idea when, while campaigning for president in 2020, he said that black voters aren't really black if they vote for Donald Trump.

"I'll tell you what: If you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, then you ain't black," Biden said.
