There was a good quote from Mike Tyson –"Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face.". I'm not vouching for Tyson's character but he's right here, it's easy to philosophise from a position of privilege. When you see or experience real violent crime you can't justify a lot of it... whatever screwed up those criminals in the first place.
