Well, thank you! But no thanks! You won't ever see it until you drop your "sources" and actually do a deep dive. And I know you are not interested enough. Hint, it's vascular, mini strokes.

Which part of that link explains how people in the 1700s very obviously had autism?

They didn't. As I said, people demonstrated the symptoms of what we would call autism nowadays, even though they didn't have the term for it.

For example, Hugh Blair was known for:

Always wearing the same piece of clothing which he repaired by sewing patches of new cloth stolen from other people without their knowledge
Requesting the same seat in church and engaging in repetitive acts.
Compulsively keeping objects in the same order.
Attending every nearby burial, regardless of whether he knew the deceased.
Making unannounced visits to others and being oblivious to social cues. For example, he copied greetings but never initiated them.
Socialized with servants who insulted him and played pranks on him, unaware he was the object of their ridicule.
While most considered him feeble-minded, some were impressed with his long term memory.
Ate his meals alone and would allow his pet cat to eat off of his plate.
Compulsively washed his wig so that he could see the water drops falling from it.
Repetitively carried rocks and pieces of wood from one place to another for no reason.
After watching some workers, he acquired a great interest in dry stone dykes despite not knowing their use. He built one on his own estate that went nowhere and served no purpose.
Was socially innocent and would strip naked if asked to do so, even if he were in public.

No one would hesitate to call this autism.

The evidence predates vaccination.

In fact, the smoking gun would be modern scientific method itself, which originated three or four hundred years ago. It was preceded by a handful of alchemists, mathematicians and astrologers who applied an autistic style mindset to a narrow range of data.

The only other convincing explanation is OCD in the repetition of tasks and writing up of data. But that doesn't cut it.

Many of the folk who first classified plants and animals, and rock types, and celestial movements were likely autistic. That stuff doesn't float the boat of normies at all... but someone with an autistic obsession would do it.

Same with whatever tribesman went and studied all the plants in some given area and worked out what they could do.

Back then, the substance that caused hatters to become mad was mercury, a substance also found in vaccines, so they didn't need vaccines to poison themselves with mercury. And there were other sources of mercury too. But autism is also caused by other heavy metals as well, all of which could be found in the environment back then.

You're really claiming that Hugh Blair's symptoms are more consistent with erethism than autism? Really?

Vaccines is just one way to become autistic. Fluoride is not guiltless here either. And if you drink tap water, you are likely getting your daily dose of fluoride. A fluoride derived from hydrofluoric acid, an industrial poison that they are adding to most water supplies these days.

I daresay heavy metal poisoning would cause symptoms of autism which have happened throughout history.

Mad hatter's affected different people differently, so there's a distinct possibility of that being a cause.

There is evidence of it long before then.

A lot of modern life seems to have developed from autism and other such wee groupings:.

* Autism -> Science, etiquette, bureaucracy, writing systems, mathematics
* Fantasists -> Literature, visual arts
* Misophonia -> Art music
* Narcissism & exhibitionism -> Performing arts, pornography
* OCD -> Ritual, law, bureaucracy
* Paranoia -> Defence, law, security
* Psychopaths -> Weaponry, warfare, hierarchy, organised crime, pornography
* Schizophrenia -> Visual arts, literature, some forms of religion.
* Social anxiety -> Etiquette, ethics
* Sociopathy -> Advertising, modern politics and business
* Synaesthesia -> the arts

The hallmarks of erethism are irritability and memory problems, neither of which Blair had. The hallmarks of autism are repetitive behaviors and social unawareness, both of which he had.

No, the prior claim that I was responding to was "Autism started when they began injecting children with mercury." That is false.

No. The largest increase in autism rates has been since 2000, well after vaccines became commonplace.

The reason for that spike is that it was only around 2000 or so that they started diagnosing milder cases.

They were certainly around before then and a lot of older people remain undiagnosed.

We assume that vaccine ingredients have not changed since it became "commonplace" in the '60's and even prior to that, but haven't the ingredients changed through the years and haven't they become even more toxic in the recent past and continue along those lines even up until now? It is the heavy metals among other toxins that have caused such a rise in autism. Not to mention the aforementioned poisons in the water and the air.
