Anyone know pertinent facts regarding LDS/Russia relations? Considering Putin threatened to nuke the US, any info might be good to know.

Over the years several missionaries have been deported from Russia - 2 were kidnapped involving ransom in 1998.

I have such mixed impressions. Putin/Russia seems to be good at smelling scams like the lds cult one, yet in high circles, there seems to be more conspiring among those media would never lead you to believe (Eg., Jordan Peterson couldn’t go anywhere other than Russia to save his life).

Well, I would tend to think a channel calling itself Russia Today had links to Russia! Thank you Faecebook for this fascinating discovery. (That said, I don't think many foxes are involved in running Fox News.)

Although the BBC has some cheek in referring to RT as a state broadcaster with ties to the government. If you've seen the BBC recently, it's been the royal channel for several days solid. Numerous other things too like promoting wokeness.

Disagree. And really, it's the commentary that is the issue with RT. Everything they report is aimed to put the West in a bad light and put Russia in a good light. I understand that the West is bad and I have nothing against going after Western media. What I don't like is blind acceptance of one side just because someone may agree with one side more than the other. It's all to manipulate the massess.
