Jackson Browne
Fri • Sep 23 • 7:00 PM
Sandy Amphitheatre, Sandy, UT
Tickets around $200 each unless you want to sit on the grass.
I can listen to the CDs for free. I wonder what else I can do with $400?

Sounds too expensive for us. We could use $400 on food. Wait, we don't have $400 for food! Oh well

I am. Im taking my 13 years old daughter who has become a fan also. This will be my 5th IM concert. The first being the Seventh Son tour at the Salt Palace back in 1988 I believe. I still have the ticket stub. $21.

Amazed they're still on the go. (I've listened to a lot of the Irons in my time, but used to get told it was Devil Music.)

That's the precise reason I don't bother with a lot of concerts.
If I look at the concerts I've been to they don't reflect my CD/radio/streaming tastes. I've been to trad, and even jazz concerts, because the tickets were free or affordable, but tend to listen to rock instead otherwise.
I also refuse to see rock bands twenty plus years after their heyday. It's a young man's genre. I wouldn't have bothered with the Rolling Stones in the eighties or nineties, let alone now. And I've seen the state of Axl Rose recently – one YouTube video has him performing sitting in a chair! Maybe other genres. I'd happily see some country or blues stars in old age, if I could afford it. But rock and metal, just no. I watched a video of Camper Van Beethoven playing a few years ago and it was embarassing.

We saw Styx, REO and Loverboy at Usana a few months ago. You should enjoy Iron Maiden.

Jackson Browne, that would be a fun evening! Allman Bros are touring as well. $400, well two trips to the diesel pumps, ain’t much these days.

I wish. My cousin has seen them 4 times(once in Europe). I’ve been a fan since we listened to cassettes from a boom box in elementary school at recess. Before there was Prog Metal there was Iron Maiden. One of those bands that’s better now then they have ever been. Loved the last few albums.
The price of tickets drove me away from concerts. Used to go about every opportunity I had when it was a band I wanted to see. Have fun and up with the irons!

Save the younger generation. Teach them Iron Maiden.
Yeah Seventh Son was one of the greatest metal albums ever. Seems like Prog Metal started to really take off after that album came out. I have been happy ever since!

19 is the common denominator of 38 and 57.
search.php?keywords=19ii will find a KWii devoted to same, although someone made use of it before said devotion..
How’s that for an anomaly that The Wicker Man may appreciate?
Apropos, but not surprisingly. CBNC
