NY Times Op Ed: Throw out the Broken Constitution and reclaim America

Post by Subcomandante »

Well, look at this...a couple of Ivy League professors have written an op-ed in the NYT calling for a replacement to the Constitution...

Quite chilling that now they are this open about dismantling it. I have a strong feeling that President Oaks will be prophet right when there are more and more attacks on the Constitution, just as we had President Nelson in the middle of the COVID situation.

You forgot the church is neutral unless it furthers the WEF.

I have to admit to hoping that Dallin Oaks will soon become the president of the Church and somehow lead the charge to "bear the Constitution away from the very verge of destruction", and restore its inspired principles to government.

If Oaks could do for the Constitution what Nelson did for COVID, we'll all be dead.

There’s hope, and there’s Hopium. And it pays to know the difference.

The constitution isn't broken. There are some changes that need corrected, like repealing amendments 16 & 17.

Jesus Christ affirmed the worth of our constitution. D&C 98 & 101

The man is a true lawyer and politician. If his lips are moving... you know.

Dallin is good at not remembering things.

Oaks is a globalist. And the corporate church is the whore of Babylon. You won't find any Constitution saviors in SLC.

What fools. The US Constitution does have flaws as a document written by fallen men, but it is also full of many praiseworthy notions and ideals. It is one of the best political documents out there.

Of course, as I have said elsewhere, the WEF, and probably these professors too, appear to be under the spell of Plato. They see themselves as the Philosopher Kings, from his book "Republic", trained individuals who can direct society more wisely than the ignorant unwashed peasants (us allegedly.) They believe democracy should be hacked, but wish to maintain store front politicians to quiet the masses (again, Plato, as in his notion of "the Noble Lie")... but that we also need fact checkers more than we need free will and indeed wider freedom.

The problem with op eds and other view points like this, that the Constitution is broke and needs to be fixed is that they all want to replace it with something draconian and government controls anything and everything.

Like that old fashioned and out dated and out moded 2nd Amendment. That is one of the first things they think is "broke" about the Constitution. And all those other things about "rights" which they think only the government should have.

Beware snakes like these "perfessers".

Now that surely comes out the back end of a bull. Even though I live in Arizona, I am personally acquainted with people in SLC and elsewhere in Utah who respect and espouse the principles of the Constitution.

There was an article on the front page of some newspaper here saying the UK government needed to take Covid style measures to stop the economic meltdown.

No mention of the fact that the economic meltdown is largely down to the lockdowns and restrictions in the first place.

You're right.

The Constitution isn't broken.

We are.

In my opinion.

After the first 10, only the 11th, 13th, maybe the 25th and the 27th are important enough to keep.

Throw the rest in the trash.

And restore this one:

The Lost 13th Amendment

Joshua Horn by : JOSHUA HORN APRIL 15, 2013

Since the adoption of the United States Constitution twenty-seven amendments have been passed, and thousands more have been proposed. It may seem that it would be clear what exactly is the governing document of the United States, but some people argue that there is another “lost” amendment that was passed and is really part of the Constitution today. The missing amendment would have been the 13th, and it is called the Titles of Nobility Amendment.

The early 1800s, when this amendment was proposed in Congress, was a tumultuous time in American history. The nation was unstable, as it had just been reorganized under the Constitution. There were fears of a foreign intervention, and it wouldn’t be long until the War of 1812 broke out. It was these fears that prompted Democrat-Republican Senator Philip Reed of Maryland to propose this amendment:

If any citizen of the United States shall accept, claim...

I recently read an article on that quote. The author said it will be saved by the "Elders of Israel" and then said that the phrase "Elders of Israel" could be interpreted in one of two possible ways. The first way is that it would be referring to the leaders of the church and the second way is that it could be referring to the rank and file members of the church. Ezra Taft Benson informed us which of the two it would be when he said: "The Prophet Joseph Smith declared it will be the elders of Israel who will step forward to help save the Constitution, NOT THE CHURCH." Also, it cannot be the Church or it leaders because they "partnered" with the United Nations, our enemy, you know the enemy Mormon warned us about when he said that this secret combination "shall be among you" in New York City and that it's objective is to "overthrow the freedom of all lands, nations, and countries and it bringth to pass the destruction of all people...." (Ether 8:24-25)

It would be an oxymoron for Dallin Oaks if he were president of the church to save the constitution while cuddling up to the United Nations who's objective is to destroy the constitution!

Say you want President Nelson to die soon without saying you want President Nelson to die soon. I'm just kidding lundbaek!
