What is this "secret combination that seeks “complete control of government”?

Following is a compilation of statements by people whose names you'll probably recognize, and whose credibility you may respect. However, the subject they are on about may be one you've not heard about in Church meetings or read about in Church publications.

Nephi, son of Lehi, told us "Concerning the last days", ..."And there are also secret combinations, even as in times of old, according to the combinations of the devil, for he is the founder of these things; yea, the founder of murder, and works of darkness". (2 Nephi 26:14 & 22)

Moroni, son of Mormon and the last of the Nephites, wrote a warning to us in our day of "murderous combinations...which are built up to get power and gain", and of a "secret combination that shall be among you" that "seeketh to overthrow the freedom of all lands, nations, and countries". (Ether 8: 23, 24 & 25).

In that connection, in the October 1988 LDS Church General Conference, the prophet at that time, President Ezra Taft Benson, warned: "Secret combinations lusting for power, gain, and glory, are flourishing. A secret combination that seeks to overthrow the freedom of all lands, nations, and countries is increasing its evil influence and control over America and the entire world."

And Acting President and later President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, Boyd K. Packer, speaking in a 16 January 2007 BYU Devotional, and later, in an article the August 2010 Ensign magazine (Pg. 23), stated: "We live in a time of war, that spiritual war that will never end. Moroni warned us that the secret combinations begun by Gadianton ‘are had among all people. . . . Wherefore, O ye Gentiles [and the term gentile in that place in the Book of Mormon refers to us in our generation], it is wisdom in God that these things should be shown unto you, that thereby ye may repent of your sins, and suffer not that these murderous combinations shall get above you. . . . Wherefore, the Lord commandeth you, when ye shall see these things come among you that ye shall awake to a sense of your awful situation, because of this secret combination which shall be among you."

We note that in Moroni's warning we are advised to "suffer not that these murderous combinations shall get above you". And also, we should note that in both President Benson’s warning and in Moroni’s warning, there is reference to a single secret combination that "seeketh to overthrow the freedom of all lands, nations, and countries", and “is increasing its evil influence and control over America and the entire world."

So, just what is this "secret combination that seeks to overthrow the freedom of all lands, nations, and countries"? Has it already gotten above us, and is it exercising control over America and the entire world? My answer to those questions is a resounding "YES!" But my credibility being what it is - and isn't- I present just a few of many statements on this subject by a few more people whose names you'll probably recognize, and whose credibility you may respect.

In the April 1942 General Conference, President Heber J. Grant said: “The same political tenets and philosophies that have brought war and terror in other parts of the world are at work amongst us in America. The proponents thereof are seeking to undermine our own form of government and to set up instead one of the forms of dictatorship now flourishing in other lands.”

And in the October 1942 General Conference, President Grant stated: “[Satan] plans to destroy liberty and freedom... and to set up in place thereof the greatest, most widespread, and most complete tyranny that has ever oppressed men. He is working under such perfect disguise that many do not recognize either him or his methods.”

Elder Joseph Fielding Smith wrote in his work "Doctrines of Salvation", Vol.3, pp. 314-315:"Satan has control now. No matter where you look, he is in control, even in our own land. He is guiding the governments as far as the Lord will permit him. That is why there is so much strife, turmoil, confusion all over the earth. One master mind is governing the nations. It is not the President of the United States...it is not the king or government of England or any other land; it is Satan himself."

In the October 1979 General Conference, Elder Ezra Taft Benson warned that “Satan works through human agents. We need only look to some of the ignoble characters in human history who were contemporary to the restoration of the gospel... I refer to the infamous founders of Communism and others who follow in their tradition.”

Elder Bruce R. McConkie, speaking in the April 1980 General Conference, stated: "Gadianton robbers fill the judgement seats in many nations. An evil power seeks to overthrow the freedom of all nations and countries."

Dr. W. Cleon Skousen, on Page 115 of his book "The Naked Capitalist", wrote, "Actually, what we are witnessing is a very carefully and methodically executed program designed to destroy constitutional government as we have known it and make a shambles of the society which has wanted to keep the Constitution alive. Only then can a highly centralized, socialist state be established. To achieve this, the middle class in America must be ruthlessly squeezed out of existence."

In his book "Memoirs", published in 2002, David Rockefeller, Sr. made the following remarks: "For more than a century ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents such as my encounter with Castro to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure -- one world, if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it."

By Winston Churchill in the 8 February Illustrated Sunday Herald, p. 5: “From the days of Weishaupt to those of Karl Marx... this world-wide conspiracy for the overthrow of civilization and for the reconstitution of society... has been steadily growing.” (Winston Churchill, Illustrated Sunday Herald, p. 5—February 8, 1920)

Former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, in a Council on Foreign Relations speech, 4/22/97, as reported in the Sept 1999 McAlvany Intelligence Advisor, stated: "Clearly we cannot meet the challenges of the new millennium with an instrument designed for the very different circumstances of the middle of the twentieth century. Make no mistake about it, the anticipated reforms will erode national sovereignty, infringe on personal liberties, and lead the world into a system of global governance."

Senator Barry Goldwater, in his book "With No Apologies" , wrote: "Rear Admiral Chester Ward, USN (Ret'd), who was a member of the CFR for sixteen years, has written “The most powerful clique in these elitist groups have one objective in common - they want to bring about the surrender of the sovereignty and the national independence of the United States. Their goal is to impose a benign stability on the quarreling family of nations through merger and consolidation. They see the elimination of national boundaries, the suppression of racial and ethnic loyalties as the most expeditious avenue to world peace.” (Page 278)

I can find no reason to question or doubt the accuracy of the statements that I have quoted here that are prophesied in the Book of Mormon, in statements by latter-day prophets and apostles, or by the few others I have quoted. Nor can I find reason to assume they apply to some other time. Consequently, I have to conclude that at least there has been and continues to exist a satanically driven conspiracy to overthrow the freedom of and gain control of all nations. These warnings, if taken seriously, should motivate us to do at least these things:

1.) Awake to a sense of our awful situation as commanded by the Lord and passed on to us by Moroni. (Ether 8:24). In his October 1987 General Conference address “Our Divine Constitution” President Ezra Taft Benson told us of five things that we “must” do. One of those, the last of the five, was that “We must be accurately informed.” As I see it, that requires Latter-day Saints to acquaint themselves with what is going on in our world. And I believe we cannot become accurately informed without guidance (and I do mean personal revelation) from God.

2.) Learn the principles of the U.S. Constitution in the tradition of the Founding Fathers. This is the second of the five things that President Benson told us that we “must” do in his October 1987 General Conference address “Our Divine Constitution”. A good understanding of the principles of the U.S. Constitution and how it was established should enable one to better understand why our road is getting increasingly bumpy. And it also affords at least a glimpse of what needs to happen to smoothen that road.’

May you benefit from observing how certain powers contrive to ruthlessly advance their own financial and ideological objectives at your expense. They select, then groom, and ultimately control many of our highest government officials. They plan the wars and through foreign policy arrange to set the stage for incidents to inflate hostilities. They overwork the word peace to misled us and create a plausible smoke screen in order to conceal their real operations. Perhaps you can recognize who at least some of them are.

From my own investigations and observations, the goal of the conspirators is total control over all the earth's resources: human resources, natural resources, industrial and manufacturing resources, economic and financial resources, agricultural resources, intellectual resources, and others I fail to think of just now.

May you realize that it is essential that we recognize the continuation of the conspiracy/secret combination that Moroni warned us “shall be among you”. I hope the above quoted statements will somehow inspire you to find ways that you can help smoothen the road ahead. I consider this important because according to my understanding of Moroni's warning in Chapter 8 of The Book of Ether, especially verses 20-26, the Lord wants us to be aware of the murderous and secret combinations seeking to overthrow our freedom which "shall" be among us, and do all we can to prevent them from getting above us. Well, we haven't done very well so far, and as I sees 'em, those of us in the freedom battle are so far fighting a losing battle. So why do I involve myself in a lost cause? Because sometimes lost causes are the only ones worth fighting for.

Thanks for the post. For me, the adherents of the conspiracy tend to show us who they are by their overt and public symbols such as the fancy handshakes (Temple), hiding of one hand under their coats, satanic signs meant to resemble a symbol of love in sign-language, pyramids a la Trump and Merkel, hiding of one eye in photographs... I see these ones as the ones who have sold their souls for fame, money, sex and things much darker. I feel sadness for these people but have zero tolerance for any of their crap. As for the one(s) making all the decisions, I'm thinking these would be the central bankers and other "Giants" of our society (https://www.sacred-texts.com/bib/boe/). I have the feeling that the higher (lower?) you get up their rank, the more they become hidden. People tell me to follow the money but they always go the wrong direction by chasing down rabbit holes of who gets what... One needs to look in the direction of the source of the money. Things get much more interesting going that way; the branches get fewer as one approaches the trunk.

The sad irony in all of this is that we are the ones that are giving power to the bankers' phoney money. We have forsaken the fullness of the gospel wherein we were supposed to become a "peculiar" people in the very same way that the Israelites were to become a "peculiar" people. Deuteronomy 14:2

For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God, and the Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.

We give the money its value by using it to purchase the things that Babylon has produced. I still remember the character of Satan in the Temple film when he looked at the camera and said something like, (...and I will buy up armies and navies and rule with blood and horror on this earth!" At this point he was commanded to depart. If we did not use the bankers' money (Render unto Caesar) it would have no value.

The Libertarians (I was one of them) will go on about a "sound" currency that is backed by gold but there is great deception here. In their world the dollar would be a receipt for a specified amount of gold but, isn't this labouring for things that cannot save? Whomever this "Secret Combination" is, I do believe that it is led by satanic forces and beings and that interact with mortals. Ether 8:16

obviously the entire post is great. I would like to highlight a couple things:

You cannot be accurately informed if you only tune into "the 5 o'clock news". Nor can you be informed if you simply "read the paper". No. Once you realize almost all the legacy media is controlled by just a few individuals, and realize those individuals have an agenda - it is not enough to simply sit back and be brainwashed every evening. You must learn to think independently and critically and then ask of God to lead you right. You must learn how to compare and contrast, follow the money - basically realize that we are living in the times where

evils and designs which do and will exist in the hearts of conspiring men in the last days

. There should be absolutely no question we are living in those days.

understanding and applying, I think I would add. The application that first caught my eye is - the Constitution is all about how our government runs - except for this little part about patents - that applies to individuals. Why would the Founders set up a document instructing how government is run, how votes are taken, who has power over what - and then include a little blurb about individuals having the rights to own patents - to own intellectual property? Because they knew that great power exists in a country when individual rights are protected. Now we live in a country where the protecting collective has suddenly become the driver of new laws - hate crimes against groups, protected classes, racial bias, benefitting from having money, corporations more powerful than individual sole proprietorships - it's all there. the "rebels" from the 1980's movies are now frowned upon.

yes. the countermove is going to have to be: being independent of their "system": grow your own, build your own, don't rely on their banks (money), transportation systems, food, medicine, computers, electricity. Control is the key. Be wary of a car that can drive itself - the place it might be taking you could be over a cliff if you have any "wrongthink" in your records. Smart phones are also a tool of control (vault 7)

All you have to do, is just look at W.H.O. the church is taking orders from and bows down to - (cause it sure ain't Jesus Christ)
and you'll be starring at them in the face.
Just look at all the ties and organizations with Babylon, that the church supports and is involved in.

The biggest problem I see is that about half the people cannot see evil, so they wind up controlled by it. JP Sears just made a great video about this.

The church has been greatly compromised in this way by going along with the NWO on many fronts, but especially on the COVID scam. It is my observation that every member who took those shots now has lessened spiritual discernment and they have shifted greatly in the direction of not being able to see evil, anymore. They see no serious crisis and they believe all is well in the church. They are extremely oblivious to what is underway. It makes me so depressed.

Looks like our church is a Jesuit operation. Now they are even folding the Pope into the program, normalizing the Vatican, even, after doing the same with the U.N.

The church operates like the Jesuit order: top-down with unerring compliance expected by all operatives in the chain. Certainly, stake presidents tend to conform.
