Have you caught the Plague?

Post by Lexew1899 »

In all the time that COVID has allegedly been going on, I’ve never caught so much as a sniffle. Never followed lockdown advice early on. Rarely if ever mask anywhere since. Have been to a well known worldwide theme park around 50 times the past year (a perk of the job), have caught nothing, zero. I’m either immune (as well as my wife, 3 year old, 2 year old, and newborn) or this thing is so laughably non-contagious you literally need to be face to face with someone to catch it. Just to make a small poll here.

A lot of people are immune or asymptomatic. Vast majority seem unaffected. I think I’ve had the flu maybe 2-3 times. I hardly ever get sick even if my own family is all sick.

I had similar symptoms (odd for me) 2 different times while around people who tested positive (not that the test means anything). These were over a year apart. Much less severe on my end though, each time I was a little tired for a day.

Not surprising, I keep up on various vitamins and have a healthier lifestyle than many of those being seriously affected.

*Now that I think about it, those are the only 2 times I’ve been sick in the last 3-4 years. It’s very rare that I come down with anything, and I can usually trace it back to bad food.

How close and how long were you near these people? Because I’ve been packed a$$es to elbows with people in buffets and other similar places with people hacking up all over. Been in vehicles with people who supposedly tested positive. Figured I would have caught something by now. Just seems weird to me.

One was July 2020, I was living with a few other guys while selling pest control. So very close association. The other was with extended family, so close there as well.

I caught it in January 2022. Previous to that I hadn't been sick in years. Maybe a teeny tiny feeling that a sore throat might be coming on, but double up on the vitamin D and it would go away. I caught it in January because I gave someone a ride to the hospital and she nearly coughed up a lung in my car. Must have been a super high viral load. Symptoms were mild, but held on for nearly 3 weeks. I did test negative 3 weeks later though. In some ways I'm glad to have it over with as I figured we would all come in contact with it at some point. In other ways, I'm annoyed at the person who gave it to me for not just calling an ambulance or something. Why did she have to share it with me? (She didn't know that she had it and tested positive at the hospital.)

Edited to add: I also was taking an immune suppressing medication at the time. Perhaps that is why I finally caught it despite not getting sick in years.

If you know of someone who has it, share a drink with them and then if you get sick or not, you'll know if you had immunity. lol I was tempted to do that back in August when my sister got it and the pressure was on everyone to get the jab.

My kids practically lick the handrails half the time we’re at the parks. Walk up to other little kids and have conversations with them. I figured if any of us catch it, it would have been them by now.

I caught it in December. It was like a cold. Not a huge deal...except for the fatigue. It literally took me three hours to get the will to walk out to get the mail and six hours to recover from 100 foot walk there and back.

...nope...I am old/unnvaxed/multiple co morbidities but I have no fear in me...a lot of people I work with have become very sick...they are all vaxed...

I would gladly go through nightmarish hell associated with the dreaded disease than to accept this corrupt plandemic scheme to vaccinate the whole world...in saying that...
...I don't believe the disease to be deadly nor worth worrying about...for Me...granted I know there will be those who have experienced significant concerns...even some people may have actually died as a result of the disease...as seen through the eyes of family/friends/colleagues etc...

I get that there is fear...uncertainty...depression...angst...but for me this is a non-event...I am not a denier of the plandemic...but, to me...it has been designed by man....to convince man....to become vaccinated man...for the purpose of controlling man...to beat down man...to demoralise man...to separate man...from God...families...communities...to become dead men walking...living zombies who have given up free will and agency to a false God....a false doctrine if ever I saw one...

Fear alone, is enough to drop your immune system enough to get sick. If you are walking in the woods and you come across a bear, and the bear desires you for lunch, your body immediately completely shuts down the immune system and puts 100% of available resources into adrenalin so that you will think quick and run quick if necessary. Fear destroys the immune system. People that are not afraid are generally not affected as their fear does not deplete their immune system. The sissies that go get a shot live in fear. They have to be careful not to walk away from the sun as the shadow may frighten them. Courage alone, is enough to keep you well unless you have something else going on.

...this is true...my own experience bears this out...fortunately...my own immediate family feel the same way I do... :)

I have other health associated issues...I have been under specialists....they have tried to frighten me by bringing a whole team of top specialists to me and as a group trying to convince me that I am in a really bad way...I looked up and just laughed....they said I could die anytime!...I smiled and told the Cardiologist...thanks...but, I'm good!...

...I was in hospital and one of the Cardiologist came to me and said your heart is operating at 9.7%...as if to convince me I should submit to cancer causing procedures...I said..." so you are saying there is hope! :)

Everyday they would come to me as if I would change my mind and submit to becoming a medical guinea pig...

...because I entered hospital with my faith intact...it never left me!...besides, the Lord knows I want a release from this world...unfortunately for me...He does not yet agree!...

by the time I left hospital...the medical team had gone from calling me one of those...anti vaxes...to proclaiming that I should be a poster boy for their medical procedures because my health had been restored to an unbelievable degree before I left...funnily enough...I did not undergo any significant treatment the whole time I was there (10 days...).

During my stay in hospital I was attended to by over 40 doctors and specialists...most were preparing for their specialist exams so asked me if I would submit to helping them prepare for their specialist exams...I became known as the best patient they have ever had because I allowed them to poke and prod me to help them prepare...I became so used to their routine's I could tell them what to do!...

...at the end of the day...trust God...not man...the end! :)

Jan 2022, like a bad head cold at worst. Dry cough for a couple days.... lingering tickle in throat. No sinus or lung... just back of throat. Wife had a bad headache, fatigue, one day fever, mild cough. Other family in household had sniffles, mild dry cough.

Cough drops have been my friend, as I was allowed back to work 6 days after onset of symptoms on a federal installation.

Omicron is the newest version of common cold IMHO.

Just a curious question. Do you know your blood type? I heard early on in the plandemic that supposedly O type blood is more immune. Covid went through our house twice. My boys caught it the first time, 10 months later I got it. My hubby didn’t get it either time. (Nor since and he’s been exposed multiple times at work) He has O negative blood.

Almost 75% say they did or might have had it. I was expecting maybe 20% tops to say that.

My wife and kids are all O. I must be too, because I’m pretty sure it’s a recessive gene.

Chuckle, so true about little kids. 20 years ago I was so obnoxious with our first baby and germs. 4 kids later and I realize how taxing that fear was for me with the first baby. My dad is O- I am A+.

We did notice in our family that the Os bleed more. Maybe that helps with keeping them from clotting and being sicker.

January 2020 my whole family got sicker than I have ever seen them. It lasted weeks, I was impressed during that time to pray for each one as I tended them "that their bodies would learn what they needed to from the illness." That had never happened before and the Holy Spirit was very specific. Just after that we learned about COVID when it became mainstream news. My husbands whole office got sick at the time and a foreign worker who had visited and brought the sickness tested positive for having had COVID antibodies when she returned home.

In April the Lord told me that Covid is real, but I didn't have to wear a mask. I was pregnant at the time, so I really appreciated the direction and comfort from the Holy Spirit.

My family and I got covid in January. It basically is the flu with a sore throat. I was much sicker in 2008 with the flu.

Last week we were in line for a ride, and my 2 year old grabbed something up from the ground, hastily ate it before we could even knock it out of her mouth. I think it was a gummy worm or something. Not sure if it was in someone's mouth previously or was just dropped. They also try to grab popcorn from the ground that's been dropped. Maybe we will avoid COVID, but catch worms, who knows?

I think I had it in March 2020. It wasn't particularly bad, and nothing to write home about apart from a sore throat that lasted three weeks and one sweaty night.

My kid would literally get down and lick up puddles on the ground. Pretending to be a dog, I guess? I don't know how he was never sick. I got real lax after that, never worry about him eating food that falls on the floor.

That is about the same number as PCR results. If they had a common cold, the doctor told them they had covid.
