Two Jesus' in the Bible?

Post by creator »

I came across an article that makes a point of there being two Jesus children in the Bible. Worth reading, interesting to think about.

The Mystery of the Two Jesus Children & Descent of the Spirit of the Sun

Similarly, when the truth about the two Jesus children is revealed, we find that all the inconsistencies of the multiple accounts of Jesus's birth disappear. One cannot explain how one Jesus child could have two different birth accounts. It's as difficult to explain the presence of two different genealogies as to explain combustion by conjuring up phlogiston — it's very difficult and yet, as history proves, it's not impossible. Once an explanation is accepted, no matter how full of holes, a mindset arises to defend it against all comers. ... full article >>>

Seems so foreign to consider but you do have to answer why the genealogies in Matthew and Luke are different. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

First I have heard of this.

Reading it as time allows.

It’s something to do with the rule of “raising up seed to a brother”, and who is counted as one’s ancestor. Here’s a video about it:

Could be. But it could also be an assumption based on a desired conclusion.

Did you watch the video? He quoted from an esteemed early Church historian who had access to things which most people will never see.

Yes, I watched the video. The source was a "4th century historian". No explanation of where that historian got his information. It gave us no context as to whether this historian was just guessing and/or doing the typical thing many LDS apologists do (i.e. assumptions based on pre-determined conclusions).

Maybe…

Symbolism & “Madonna of the Rocks, Scene Mary with baby Jesus, John the Baptist as a child and an angel 2.” I’ve read that some interpret this painting as 2 Jesus’s - or 2 archetypes (like Romulus & Remus, & the 2 crucified thieves on each side of Jesus).

There are theories - even shrines- saying that Jesus didn’t die on the cross but survived & preached in other lands. Some suggest before his ministry Jesus spent time with “wise men of the East” which shows some teachings with Buddhist influence.
