Cop beats on 14 year old, and Police fire death rounds to man on his knees. Cops say man was running towards them. What do you say about these incidents? Were/was the cop(s) justified in acting this way in either case?

10 year cop admits that police are trampling on Constitutional rights, and that if they don't get back to doing what is right there will be a civil war. He implies that bad cops will awaken a sleeping giant that will turn and crush them.

I've been talking about bad cops trampling on rights for some time now, and some forum members think I'm nuts. Just give yourself a few minutes to listen and find out that I have made some valid points.

Well, you could always move to my native country, the UK, if you dislike your own so much. Though I expect you would find something to moan about, here, too. But you will need to provide evidence for your assertions if you want to persuade me that Americans are not free. To be sure, living among each other requires some compromises, but these are inevitable. For the most part, it seems to me that Americans can do pretty much whatever they want, within the law and provided they can afford their choices.

As for Nazi Germany, well, to the best of my knowledge, no American Jew, no American Jehovah's Witness, none of the American disabled, no American Gypsy traveller, no American homosexual, and no American communist is locked up in a concentration camp, and either worked to death on starvation rations or simply gassed outright. You do yourself no credit, and considerable disservice, attempting to compare America today with Hitler's Fascist regime.

Like a lot of Americans, as long as they wear blinders, say okay to unlawful commands from police, and keep their head in the sand, all is well.

Do you ignore the call to watch for the loss of freedom and liberty? To be aware of secret combinations and to honor and uphold the Constitution? Oh, that's right, the UK doesn't have a Constitution. And now, since 1997, the populace don't have handguns either.

I'm probably a lot older than several others on this forum, so I'll allow for a lack of construing the OP in asking IS America now patterned after Nazi Germany. Last I checked there is a question being posed and nothing more.

You do yourself a disservice by ignoring the fact that if we're not on top of our game, we'll likely end up just like A Fascist regime.

Here are my questions again.

Do you think Americans are free?

Do you see surveillance cameras everywhere, even inside and outside of buildings? Next time you go into a post off look up! Or many, many other buildings. Look up at traffic lights, posts or lines, what do you see?

Do you know that cops are trampling on constitutional rights of Americans?

Do you know about qualified immunity that allows cops to break laws as they wish without any consequence?

Do you know that our prisons and jails have people locked up for trumped up charges?

Do you know that there are two constitutions, that our judicial system has their own constitution?

Do you see that cops are more militarized than ever before?

Do you know that the policies of businesses and post offices are not law? Next time you take a camera into a post office and video, and they tell you you can't video in there, tell them to read poster 7. Even then, they will give you flack.

Do you know that the term "this day and age" is an overworked term used to trace all the way back to 9/11 as an excuse for cops to demand ID and birth date of whoever they stop?

Do you know that cops use suspicion as a way to demand ID, even though the Supreme Court has ruled that suspicion is not a viable reason? Is suspicion a misdemeanor or a felony?

Do you know that cops lie to and intimidate anyone they stop in order to obtain their personal information?

Do you know what is taking place and has taken place in Olmos Park and Leon Valley, TX over the past three years?

A correction. The UK does have a constitution.
I remember listening to a talk by Gordon B Hinckley who said the British constitution was the very finest on the earth, with the exception of the US constitution.
The difference is that our constitution isn't written, at least not as a single document. Ours has evolved over hundreds of years of fine-tuning and precedent.

Having said that, I believe we should have a written constitution along the lines of the US, as well as a new bill of rights as our current one dates back to 1698 I believe.

Do not think that cops are your friend. Trooper Blake went on a fishing expedition so he could hem up Mr. Hinton after only giving him a warning...and then asking him to stay and tell him how his business works. Mr Hinton later got thrown to the ground and beaten for doing nothing.

"The 29-year-old Black man sustained a broken nose, fractured eye socket, and several dog bite injuries after the encounter, and spent three days in the hospital before being transported to the Wake County jail. Charges against him were eventually dropped.



The two troopers, Michael G. Blake, and Tabithia L. Davis, an African-American; along with Wake Sheriff’s Deputy Cameron Broadwell, were indicted for felonies by a Wake County grand jury May 15th for their alleged excessive force on Hinton, which included beating him with their flashlights, and unleashing the K-9 dog on the unarmed man.

Your absolutely right. They arrive after the intruder is laid to the ground with holes in his body, or if they're lucky enough to get away, the cops arrest the home owner for having a gun and sometimes they even confiscate it. Thanks for the reminder.

I don't hate cops, only bad ones. Like the one that extorted fifty dollars from me as I was driving through Montana some years ago. The bad reality was that I didn't know my rights, then. Had I known my rights, had I took video of him, had I challenged him in his lies...it could have gone differently. You see, when people don't know their rights...THEY HAVE NONE.

You must be totally unaware of the Tuttle murders in Houston almost two years ago. Cops rushed into the home with a no-knock warrant and slaughtered both the man and woman, and their dog. Come to find out the cops were as dirty as a block fence smothered with mud. Way too many cops with happy trigger syndrome. Show me a good cop and I'll show you a rare specimen.

Get rid of qualified immunity and dishonest, corrupt cops and then I'll be able to praise them. Maybe.

Or "An Enemy Hath Done This" by Ezra Taft Benson. How about "Original Argument" by Glenn Beck? Or how about watching a 6+ hour video on youtube concerning the Constitution by Michael Badnarik? Oh, how about "The United States Has Two Constitutions" by Jerome Horowitz. How about "A Glorious Standard:for all mankind" by Chris Bentley? I've read them all and heard the Constitution class.

I don't know about the rest of you, but the treatment of this man brought me to shedding tears, due to him calling out to Jesus, and I had to ask God to forgive me of ill feelings in my heart that ensued toward these cops. Along with other innocent people being treated like bags of saw dust, this man didn't deserve to be treated this way. The reality is is that this is going on all around the country almost daily.

What to do to protect your inalienable rights:

1) learn your state and Constitutional rights, ie, your penal codes.
2) video the police
3) FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) the body cam videos of the police in your own defense
4) learn what RAS is, (Reasonable, Articulable Suspicion) and how it is used.
5) learn that suspicion is not a crime, it is neither a misdemeanor or a felony.
6) learn what Probable Cause is. Probable cause means that a reasonable person would believe that a crime was in the process of being committed, had been committed, or was going to be committed.
7) learn what is private property and public property. It is illegal for cops to silicate a trespass.
8) know that cops have no authority over you unless you commit a crime.
9) learn the difference between a lawful order and an unlawful order. Many cops will push you around with unlawful orders.
10) some cops are now using their flashlight as a weapon by shining it directly into your eyes even though the light comes with a stern warning to not shine it in eyes because it can burn the retina.
