Re: Repent of participating in I'm a Mormon Campaign

This is silly. Repent for participating in "I'm a Mormon" or calling oneself "Mormon"?! That seems somewhat ridiculous to me. I think that this stems from a lack of understanding of the name (or symbol) of "Mormon". Why is The Book of Mormon called "The Book of Mor...

I was blown away by what he shared back in my 9-11 obsession days. Then I had the opportunity to work beside him for some time. He was a friend then and helped open my eyes to some of the dealings of this world.

Re: Sacrament symbolism

One other point that I am not sure anyone has shared yet. We learn line upon line. Here a little and there a little - just as the Savior did. When we partake, we only take one little bit and one little sip at a time. It is true that we "take one little bit and one little sip" but this isn...

I think that if the role of a man changes based on the sphere they reside in, then the role of a woman also changes. If that is the case, I think many men would/will still be doing whatever it is that brings the woman joy in her role... so that they can have joy. :)

Are you referring to the appearance to the Brother of Jared in chapter 3? Great point. It does mention specifically the name of Jesus. Thank you.

It also mentions "I am the Father and the Son."

Re: Did Jesus Ever Sin?

I have asked myself that a few times. I don't know the answer but I think it was before his ministry. The reason I think this is because I believe when Jesus speaks or acts throughout the scriptures, Jesus is acting under the title of "Christ". Doesn't he act under the title of Christ eve...

I believe that Jesus became Christ. I believe that Jesus took upon himself that title. I believe that "Christ" is the name of a title and not the name of a person. At what point did Jesus become Christ? I have asked myself that a few times. I don't know the answer but I think it was befor...

Re: Did Jesus Ever Sin?

OK, Jeremy, my response was a bit smarmy, but if there is nothing in all the scriptures or talks by the General Authorities about Christ sinning, what more is there to say on the subject? I guess I could say, "No, He really, really, never sinned." I think inho gave a pretty good example a...

Did Jesus Ever Sin?

This is a sincere question. I know that being pure/innocent/without sin, etc. is a key component in the sacrifice pertaining to the atonement but does "without sin" equate to "never sinned"?

Scriptural references are appreciated. :)
