Re: There is no covid restriction in any country regarding missionaries
The optimal standard is that missionaries can preach to their own populations. Unfortunately, that is simply not the case the world over. Sometimes God inspires missionaries to serve outside of their native lands. It could be for family history reasons, or even looking for a family to raise, or a pl...

Re: The Priorities of Babylon
In the modern, materialistic world, the vast, vast majority of parents place a much higher priority on income, education, and career choices for their children than family, getting married, and having children. Once again, it's pretty much all about the money -- undoubtedly just as much (if not mor...

7. Do you support or promote any teachings, practices, or doctrine contrary to those of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? How can any member of the Q15 answer this question with a straight face after supporting and promoting the federal gay marriage law? It's one thing to say I don't...

Re: Psychologist believes 8 year olds are too young to make trans decisions AND decisions RE: their eternal salvation
There are a couple of countries where the Church is in its infancy in Central Asia that require prospective members to be 18 before they get baptized. This was also the case during the November policy that lasted four years, in which kids living in a same sex family had to wait until they were adul...

Re: Ward called to repentance for not doing enough missionary work. Anyone else?
Our Fifth Sunday class was likewise about missionary work, but it was more of an orientation over who can be called to serve missions and what parameters a mission has (Service mission vs Full Time mission). We have had quite a few baptisms in our ward as of late; confirmations are happening almost ...

Re: What has the Lord taught you lately?
The OP is a fantastic idea! What the Lord has taught me over the past month, is that appearences can be deceiving. We are counseled that we are to look upon the heart of an individual. I have become too judgmental of people that think differently from I do. This is a major defect that I have that I ...

LDS Physician, obviously your SP doesn't know the depth of your feelings, but I'm curious where you think he's at with everything. (e.g. totally onboard, or does he have questions) Great question. He is honestly fantastic. I express my thoughts quite opening ... most recently about the respect for ...

Pharmakeia does not equal modern day medicine. This has been explained ad nauseum by several scholars of the Bible.
It is more akin to the snake oil salesmen back in those days, as well as people that were known as sorcerors.

The church's website has randomized the order of the list of church presidents relegating Joseph Smith to near the bottom. https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/media/collection/presidents-of-the-church-of-jesus-christ-of-latter-day-saints-images?lang=eng It's not randomized. The chemical concoction that you speak of has been proven to be quite effective in lowering the severe symptoms of the disease. Literally HUNDREDS of studies prove this, all of them peer-reviewed. In fact, it has been proven that there are more cases of COVID-induced myocarditis than there have bee...

Bashing the prophet for having taken part in a college fraternity group back in the 40s that just happens to have the same name as another, far more sinister college fraternity group in a college back east? Re: Is Elder Anderson a Seer?
Prophets will sometimes use this type of language to encourage the Saints to live normal lives, and not think that because doomsday is just around the corner, that might lead to a complacency amongst the Saints, should that day not arrive. Honestly, I don't think we live in this current world throug...

Perhaps the more important question is this: should the Church really be housed in a corporation to begin with? It shouldn't even be a legally organized entity, let alone a corporation (corporation sole). Yet it has to be, in order to operate in any country on the earth. Maybe not a corporation per...

Yet it has to be, in order to operate in any country on the earth. Maybe not a corporation per se, but as a religious association, as is the case in Mexico and Brazil. Nope. To be officially recognized, maybe - but why should it need to be officially recognized? All "The Church" should be...

I have heard of countless people that have been saved by the vaccine. Ok Dr Strange, do you have the Time Stone or something? Perhaps a DeLorean? If not why are you making an unfalsifiable claim like this? It isn't any more falsifiable than to allege, without proof, that the vaccine is killing a lo...
