Re: Home schooling recommendations please.

Any good home schooling programs w/ a master class in conspiracy theories?

Maybe I’ll have to supplement a 30-60 min. study time on LDSFF as part of their education. :)

The BoM is a pretty good primer as well.

Re: Temple Interview

Can any of you explain to me why the majority of the temple laws cannot be spoken of outside of the temple? Or can you explain to me why the law of the gospel, sacrifice, chastity, and consecration are not spoken of our taught openly as they relate to the temple? *note that last part specifically as...

Re: If you don't like change, find another church - Bednar

I watched some of this video. He was talking about change when he was referring to moving from Oklahoma to Idaho because the Church asked him to. I have received different callings too. My callings change. This talk is about changes in callings. I listened from the start to minute 16. Maybe somethi...

😂😂 That had to be humiliating! Your son should’ve said what else you got that I can smack down He was nice about it, but the guy didn’t say much. He’s had the chance to talk with a LOT of people in and out of the church since he was sent home from his mission for not wearing a mask. Well he sounds ...

Re: If you don't like change, find another church - Bednar

For me, I'm voluntarily in the organization and hold to the scriptures and to faith in Christ. It's like I told my Presbyterian friend...where would I go with my faith in the book of Mormon and Joseph Smith. I can't go to his church and be better off...what? stay home and worship? Doesn't meet the ...

Re: The Nemenhah Records—Thoughts & Impressions

In the past few weeks/months I’ve had the chance to visit with a friend who has had some interaction with Phillip Cloudpiler Landis. And to be honest, his responses are quite alarming. I don’t use these words lightly, but he’s quite prideful and arrogant. I’m bewildered by the fact that I see what ...

Re: Temple Interview

Thanks RW for putting this together. They don’t use the exact same phrase over and over if they are not trying to program. Seeing it laid out like this is very disturbing! It’s taken me about 10 or so hours of study to find all of those quotes over several days. Almost exclusively through LDS.org. ...

Seriously? "Shut up, you don't have the right to judge; Seriously? that is your response in a thread where the OP is titled "Power Trip" about LDS leaders? A little far down to be rude about someone being judgemental wouldn't you think? Not to mention that telling someone to "Sh...

Home schooling recommendations please.

Hi, I just finished reading the entire thread on what excuses people have for not home schooling, so I wanted to create this thread asking for home schooling suggestions, since that thread was nearly void of any such recommendations. Please share with us your home schooling recommendations and maybe...

Re: United Nations pushes full LGBT participation rights in churches

Good Global Citizens believe in being subject to Presidents, Kings, Magistrates and unelected global leaders This piece in the LDS Newsroom is interesting. They cite the offense of committing polygamy as worthy of ex-communication, but they don‘t cite revelation as the reason for the change, but du...

Re: Timeline of Infallibility

I would like to see how many times the word "infallible" is used.... NONE. So you really mean in the title something about the ability of the church president leading someone astray, not being infallible! These are different things. What is leading astray? I would conjecture it is causing...

A temple president or sealer or something was imploring his family to do an endowment session on this specific day. We'll see if there was anything to it, That's why I was asking, a...

Just something like this requires a mature audience worried about truth, not hurling stones. I suggest you take some of your own advice. I do.
