Re: #Courage Is Contagious
https://youtu.be/fXjvCcYpSY0 Please watch. I have been severely chastised this morning by the Spirit. I now know that I am called to be courageous, and have covenanted with my God that I will be, from this moment on. No more trying to “change things behind the scenes”. I’m going public, and am at p...

Re: I saw what day it was
Why are you spamming the forum? Good point. Careful not to make a bunch of low-effort posts. It is a form of spam. Yes. It's not a bad idea to start a single thread to put those posts like that in. The person can then keep sharing what they feel they need to share without spamming the forum 👍

Have fun with your "endless" timeout. We all know you'll be back soon anyways. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) They can leave us..... But they can't leave us alone for good. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 😉😉 Edit: and this is in no way meant to be a dig at anyone that takes breaks from the forum or even desires to break from for...

Re: Is the Book of Mormon True?
I think it very likely that the fundamental story line is true. That someone that the Book of Mormon identifies as Lehi did cross the ocean with his family at about that time. However I am unwilling to bank on all the details of that story or that Lehi was somehow unique in taking such a journey. P...

Re: Anyone ever fast for 33 or 38 hours?
Stupid question to people who live in colder, damper places. How do you stay warm? If I don't eat for a day or two I feel freezing. It might be poor circulation! You're not joking! I experience this too! What I do, even if it's freezing out, get out and go brisk walk, if it's a day I'm stuck inside...

Yes, I have posted re my water only fasts in the past. :) I have no addictions so it is easy for me, and enjoyable. Just need to inform the body to not expect food. Drink pure filtered water. You have??? How the heck??? Water only? No vitamins/minerals or any supplements? Have you already made up a...

Re: Church Leaders and Secret Societies: An Open Letter That Was Sent to Several Hundred General Authorities of the Chur
How about encouraging the entire membership of the church to follow corrupt governments and to take a chemical concoction that was completely ineffective and either killed or maimed many of them? I know you tend to enjoy the who “good global citizens” thing, but it is evil when you see who they are...

No, I have no desire to spend time on it. and if you never saw the game(s) or interviews or him waving the home field flag, etc.... why would you post this obvious false information? Here say from a random website? Just curious. I've only seen some guy with sunglasses and a hood over his head. Are ...

Re: Anyone ever fast for 33 or 38 hours?
It's much easier to do a long fast if you're eating nutrient dense food for a few weeks before, and therefore low carb. Makes a 48-hr fast a breeze. I know of a 12-wk fasting protocol that ends in rolling 48's: fasting 47 hrs, eating in a 1-hr window, done several times in a row, as many times as y...

Re: When the student is ready, the teacher appears.
This rabbi spoke to me at exactly the level that I needed to hear. This is good fruit for anyone at the right place. And if you are not at the right place, it doesn't mean you are stupid or bad. It might even mean that you understood this a long time ago. So just enjoy it if you find it enjoyable, ...

Okay, y'all... Today has been too much. And this FAIR thing is taking me to places I don't want to go. I can feel my competitive juices flowing, which means it's time to stop, spend some time with my family, do some breathing, say some prayers, and discern what the next step is. I am officially in ...

Re: Joseph Smith missing for some time?
This is new to me. Hmm. Maybe best to see it through the lens of the time. Today's LDS are ultra-conformist and tied in with the world. The LDS back then were rebellious against secular government or at least sceptical of a government which was persecuting them. There is also the case of the so cal...
